  1. Does anyone make practice with excerise to improve ones chest and back muscles? My side aches like the devil after a long day of flipping, It gets better as the tornament year goes on. What do we do to keep in shape? And no, I am not getting old Roadwarrior!
  2. Should we define it? A person possessing the natural or acquired traits, such as strength, agility, and endurance, that are necessary for physical exercise or sports, especially those performed in competitive contexts.
  3. I have never stuffed a fish, digital photos suite me just fine

You will love this site, it is bursting with info and the people are all very willing to share knowledge.
  5. It's hard to believe that people would stoop so low.
  6. Hmm, that is interesting, I will have to try that. Road Warrior, how do you think that would play on Yo-Zuri?
  7. I recirculate water, just add a bag og ice in the summer, don't break open the bag
  8. My family and I will be praying for you during this hard time.
  9. I have gotten some of the best advice on tackle and presentations on this site!
  10. Thanks for all your input, I placed an order for "Please Release Me"
  11. There is a topic called Fishing Logs, not far below this one, try looking at it, it has some good info
  12. Most think it is legit I think, most give it the benefit of the doubt. The fact being that there was not a whole lot of money involved would cause one to ask, why lie? Now today that would be a different story yes? Also, the research that I did some odd years ago, pointed out in a letter written by George to the fish and game commission that a photo was taken and sent in and never returned. I guess George should have went o the local wally world and had a copy made?
  13. If all this is true about a basses smell, what do you use to mask the smell on your hands fromm sun block and the like?
  14. I could have sworn the small mouth record was thrown out because of a bogus affidavit Thank goodness it was re-instated. Hey that's the ticket, go fill out an affidavit! The real topic should be the soon to be breakage of the record, not that the orginal is a fake.
  15. Now that's a great comment, yes, I would say if you have a problem with the record, then run break it man! I am sure the people from Georgia would be happy for you and your state. I doubt they would call your catch a scam, perhaps someone 70 years from now might.
  16. I fish the hot florida lakes whereas sometimes a bass will die in the most perfect live well. What are some of the additives that one my put in their live well to help the fish make the weigh in, better more make the release.
  17. Could this be where bed fishing got it's bad name? Last summer on a Lake in Florida I was with a partner. He pointed to an angler ( not in our club) on the other side of the cove. "That's why I am against bed fishing!" I looked over and saw the guy pitching and snatching, there was no way that the fish he was attempting to catch was trying to bite the bait that often, he was trying to hook the fish in the side or something. This was the first time that I had seen conduct of this nature. Now please don't anyone get me wrong, I am not against bed fishing, but I will not throw to a bedding bass very long just because of that experience, sometimes not at all.
  18. I simply use the journal in Microsoft Outlook, Each lake or river has it's own entry, the entries have the dates, recent dates first. I just type in what worked and water temp and etc... I also use the Task list for changiong line and the calendar for lube and other boat maint. All rolled up into a simple PST file to backup for safe keeping.
  19. When noon rolls around and I have no keeper in the boat, my confidence goes down hill. Those last three hours of the tournament go really fast.
  20. I have a 700 LX nitro with a 90 horse power Mercury and I would like to replace my 23 pitch aluminum prop with another. I called Bass Pro and got the #38-524-310-58 for a stainless steel 23 pitch prop, I also got the number 38-524-310-57 for the aluminum. What are the pro's and cons for both? Is stainless steel the way to go if cost is not an issue. And for what reason would I want to change the orginal pitch for? It shipped with a 23 P, so should I not put the same back on there?
  21. Thanks for all your input and advice. I think that my prop needs replaceing. I really think that this is where all the interference is coming from.
  22. I have a Lowrance XP-25 that has all of a sudden started giving a false bottom as soon as I start getting on plane. I am thinking that I may need to reset it to factory settings or something. The Transducer is on board. If I slow down and almost stop, it starts reading the bottom again. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing it.
  23. At BMU he was way more polite than the other intructors, He was the only one that involed kids in his presentation. Yes, he was a lot different than the other instructors. He was funnier, louder and more educational, He seemed to be the only one that was trying to teach. As far as a role model, I don't see a problem with it at all. For those that may see a problem with him being a role model for kids, try asking some of the kids who their role models are now.
  24. My daughter and I attended the one in Auburn Alabama this past weekend. It was a fantastic experience and I would reccomend it to anyone that enjoys bass fishing. Ike was the most entertaining and educational.
  25. I think I will try the oil buddy, works like the pumps but holds a lot of oil.
