  12. There are more good things about tourneys than bad the only negative is carrying. Co anglers to your honey holes I know that sounds greedy but if you have a spot that's paying off you fish with a co angler in that place the next tourney . him an one of his buddies will be parked there all day
  13. I use bill dances lure retriever from bps works great be sure that what ever you get it has a spool to put lure retriever on . Personal experience. You'll get hung get out your retriever you'll break off before you can get all those dead blasted knots and loops out. ITS A MUST GOT TO BE ON A SPOOL.
  14. Ive got a couple skeet Reese micro guide worm rods. You can't be lazy with your cast they slow the line down when I make a lazy cast other than that I like them fine
  15. Never used one idk when or how to apply this bait would like to know myself
  16. That kinda what I figured to there's so much bait on gville this fall they can eat when ever they want. I fished last night till midnight an caught a ton of fish went back to same area this morning no bites within a half mile of where I wacked them last night. I moved out to a 16 foot point an caught a couple.
  17. I like the original db3 bagley for that sometimes i'll use a1 &1/2 oz bill Lewis rattle trap with the db3 I don't rip it lose I crank it down till it gets hung in grass then let it float up I use a 7foot6 med cranking stick . On the rattle trap I use a 7 foot med heavy. Deep is a relative term on my home lake deep to me is 15 to 25 foot the db3 does well to about 16 foot
  18. Fish at night. They could see him . They related the noise from his cast as danger because of that. I'd fish at night with a hula popper it should work great

  21. I always do better on new lakes because I don't have any idea's on where an how to catch them I always start looking for bait then fish. How ever that being said on my home lake I get skunked about four times a year that's fishing a about 150 days. Not bad but I believe if I fished my home lake the way I fish new lakes that number would go down.
