Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
LOL that's why I love it when the kids go . Tyler is 10 and can fish wacky rigged worms and he caught the last one on a swim bait. He is a great caster. Kayla is 8 just learned to cast and she usually fishes with a wacky rigged worm. I think she may have tried a swim bait this weekend but didn't catch anything.

Daytona Beach/port Orange (Volusia County)
We are headed that way next weekend. We are usually up there once a month or so for the next few months. I have tried fishing some areas close to where I stay but have come up with nothing. If anyone has any places that are worth trying and you wouldn't mind sharing with a visitor I would greatly appreciate it. I have a couple new places on the list but I just hope it isn't in vain again.

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
Hey everyone! We went out a few times this weekend. We took the kids along too. We've had better recently. I have four to add. I still am really terrible at taking these pics. All of mine were caught on wacky rigged worms. Watermelon red/green caught the last one. I also used rootbeer and smokey shad. I added some other pics for fun too as I had some nice scenery. My 13.5", 12" and 14"

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
This is my first time competing so I've posted all of my fish even though they have been smalls. For me I wouldn't feel like I was participating if I didn't so idk. It's less frustrating for me. I'm going to continue to try to do better but with limited time this is what I've got

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
I was so ready and out early this morning and of course that set me up for a frustrating outing. I fished in vain and only caught two mini. I will post them later. I'm off to sulk lol.

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
Gah! I have so much to do this weekend but after today's posts I feel it's my responsibility to go fishing tomorrow lol. My fiancé begrudging said he would stay home with his kids in the morning so I can get some time in.

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
Oh sorry! One was a 5" wacky rigged senko in watermelon red and green I think and the second was a wacky rigged shim-e stick in smokey shad...which is what I caught the 6# on last month same spot .

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
Thank you! I must admit I was not cool under pressure today lol. I looked like a hot mess trying to take the picture of my mini's . At least I broke the ice. Hopefully we will get back at it this weekend.

Florida Bass Club October (Bragging Rights Thread)
Well, it's my first month participating and I'm excited so I'm posting my two little 12" bass so I can say I'm on the board lol . We only get about 45 minutes after work on a weekday so if we don't get right on them there's not a lot of time for adjustment.

I'm in! I may have limited time this month but I am going to give it a shot. It was fun following last month.

Fisherwomen???? Spinning Reel Or Baitcasting Reel?
I have three spinning reels. I have nothing against bait casters but my free time is limited and in my head I want to fish with what little time I have rather than learn a baitcaster lol.

I Moved This Year And While Scoping Out The Local Puddles...
I did weigh it with my crappy lipper scale. It read 6#. I hate that thing. Idk how accurate it is. I did not measure it. By the pics we were "guessing" between 20"-22". I know better now . We have a digital scale in our wedding registry but after that idk if we can wait that long hahaha.

Start Em Young, Raise Em Right...
We have been taking my fiance's kids fishing with us. I spent the time the other day teaching Kayla how to cast. She actually picked it up pretty quickly (yay no more casting FOR her lol) and so I sent her off to keep trying. We went to a new spot and she cast one time and caught her first bass all by herself! She even lipped it...in her denim skirt lol.

Florida Bass Club September Tournament
Hey all! I've been missing off the board since the spring. This is a great idea! I wish I had gotten in this month. I moved and am enjoying finding the local holes. We have been getting out about once a week so I am going to try to give it a run for October...that is if it's ok to have a Queen of the Hill . Good luck everyone!

I Moved This Year And While Scoping Out The Local Puddles...
MCS I caught it on a wacky rigged Shim E Stick in Smokey Shad. Totally random. This was a new spot so I was really just trying to get a feel for the area and had this on from a prior outing lol. My go-to is a watermelon red and green senko. I caught six bass in an hour tonight mostly small though. BassinLou thank you! Let me know! I am hard to pin down at times but please give me the deets!

I Moved This Year And While Scoping Out The Local Puddles...
...I got a new pb tonight! Don't mind the ridiculous look on my face. I was totally geeked out lol. I caught it out across the waterway so it gave me quite a fight for a bit!

Been Mia But Had A Decent Day On Sunday In South Florida
Thanks everyone! It feels great! I am moving about an hour north so I am excited to scope out new spots too. I was using senkos watermelon red/green and motoroil red wacky rigged. It was the middle of the day and it is already so hot down here I wasn't that hopeful. I guess those are the best days

Been Mia But Had A Decent Day On Sunday In South Florida
I have been MIA both on the board and fishing. Life got in the way for the last ten months and I am finally getting a little wiggle room. I hadn't been bass fishing that long to begin with so I was happy with my return this Sunday. I had low expectations as it was midday but I caught two decent bass and and a handful of little guys. Excited to be back at it!
