If you are not making large quanities at one time a Hot Pot II works well. Kelley
  2. Thanks Links-man. I needed a Lake Fork map for the Forum trip and didn't want to buy a Navitroics just to be used on one lake. Kelley
  3. Looks like too many appendages to get tangled up in the wood and weeds I flip in. By the way, It only snowed about 2" here in Albion IL. Kelley

  7. 101 Unkle Josh Pork works well on these also. Kelley
  8. I use them all the time for both fishing and hunting. They have paid off bigtime in both. When I am tournament fishing I make sure that I am on my best hole during peak times and secondary times. Kelley
  9. Spaghet works for me. Kelley
  10. David did 5 reels for me last Fall and couldn't be more pleased. #1 in my book. Kelley

  14. eastkybass, I have caught a TON of bass in Cave Run on Watermelon Chartruse Zoom lizard. It works on all the lakes I fished when I lived in E. KY., ie, Yatesville, Paintsville, Dewey, Panbowl, Laurel ect, ect. Kelley
  15. While fishing a tournament at Lake Cumberland I witnessed the effect noise has on baitfish and Bass. We were fishing a flat that was loaded with shad and 3 to 5 lb Largemouth. A 5 lb'er followed my non-boater's jerkbait to the boat and when it turn away he stomped his foot on the deck. We could see the wake as the shad left. No Baitfish, No Bass. Kelley

I use wheelweight aloy lead for everthing except split shots. It is harder than pure lead and dosen't bend as well as pure lead. Kelley

Received 3 very nice Spinnerbaits and trailers today from Fishin49er today. Can't wait to try them at Lake Fork. Kelley
  23. Drill and bit works better for me than grinding. Just be careful to just drill out the rivet head and not through the deck. Kelleu
  24. I have fished Garcia reels since the 50's. Tried others as they came on the market but their early models couldn't compare to the Garcia IMO. I inheireted 7 Shimno reels and 7 GLX rods when my best friend Chuck died and am going to give them a full trial in rememberance of him. I voted Garcia but am not too old to change my mind if others are better. Kelley
