  1. Congrat!!! I just knocked up my wife, so will be expecting one in Oct. ;D
  2. Ebay is great. A seller I used has curado 200 for 130-140 dollars, and citica 200 for like $90 with free shipping.
  3. I have taken my wife out for crappie fishing few times. She doesn't like fishing, but it is a great activity for us to spend some time together. And it is kind of like a stress relief activity for me as well. You might want to get her started on crappie or sun fish, so she won't quit after an hour.
  4. I don't know anyone who uses 2 piece rods. Now as far as a reel? The trouble with buying something like a Citica,is that it will not be able to throw light baits. If you are going to only be throwing baits that are fairly heavy, then fine. Just don't expect to be able to throw a weightless fluke,or finesse jig that weighs 3/16oz. If you intend to throw light stuff, you need a reel with a much lighter spool, which unfortunately will lighten your wallet. I am using a Citica 200 right now on a 7' MH rod for all single hook, and sometime I will throw some light stuff, but never had a big problems with it. I do agree that a high end reel might work better on light lures, but you shouldn't experience too many problems.
  5. Congrat. as well dude. when the obstetrician told me it was positive, I literally stopped breathing for 3-4 seconds. And she had to tell me, Lee...Breath!!!
  6. After you took the recommendation from Gary, do you fish any better on soft plastics with spinning gears?
  7. Yeah. Before the baby come, I am going to fish as much as I can. haha
  8. Guys. My wife and I just came back from the OBGYM office, and she was tested positive. OMG! I am going to be a daddy. Excited and scared at the same time. ;D
  9. I did hear about it, but local news station said 2 inches for MD.
  10. chegg.com never carries the book I need for courses...any other website you guys would recommend?
  11. wow...this is not much of a service if you have to pay upfront, then wait 90 days to get your money back. Time to switch, AAA here I come.
  12. Each time I go out, and I will pack one type of lures. Spinner baits, top waters, worms, whatever...and I will just use the same type of lure all day. Next week, I will bring something else to the lake. So my lures are not just sitting in the tackle box, I am sure that's probably not a good way to fish but hey I just like to go out and fish. ;D
  13. That sounds fun Francho...hahah!
  14. I got verizon roadside assistance as well, and why are you asked to call the police? I tho they are supposed to handle it for you? :-?
  15. I would go with the Shimano Citica. It is built off the frame as the Curada, and much less expensive. I have used both reels, Curada offers a smoother retrieve and it is better casting of light lures.
  16. yeah. He usually fish wacky style, maybe that's why the worm flies off?
  17. Thank you for all the help guys. One of my friends said, the reason I dont use baitcaster rod because senko's are so soft and sometimes he will throw one off during casting. And I believe he fish weightless. Anyone else ever experienced that?
  18. What do you guys prefer to use for Senko/worm fishing? I have read some post on Senko setups, and folks got different ideas. Can anyone please explain the advantage on both Spinning and Bait casting setups for Senko/Worm fishing? And which one you would prefer? Thx.
  19. flea market has some great deals, if you would to purchase something for a 100 dollars from a seller. Then the 4% is only 4 bucks. It protects both parties. why not? Most items for sale are at an super discounted price already, and paying an extra few bucks should be reasonable.
  20. wow. Goose52, you always find the best deal around...
  21. which one do you guys use for senko fishing? is 10 enough?
  22. If nothing works. my watermelon senko usually work...

You need to be watching the flea market here. It's going to be hard to beat to find a new one for $145.Slightly used ones might be even selling a little cheap yet.I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on another one soon... ;D Stocking up for the spring huh...
  24. I kept a small plastic bag in my tackle box. Wasted lines, lures will get stored in there. By the end of the day, I will just dump it in a trash can.
