  1. WTG! Looks like you did great.
  2. You should checkout http://dudleyrods.com/ when you get $200. He does great work and for about the same price as a regular st.croix or g-loomis rod. I got my custom g-loomis IMX 844 rod from him that I just love but I paid more for mine because I got fuji titanium guides. Check him out and he will work with you on what you want.
  3. I use a leader also but I use 20lb power pro and a 20lb leader. The BBH is a great lure. Florida bass love them in any kind of water.
  4. Looks like you guys had a great day.
  5. I'll be looking for them. Let us know when you find them.
  6. WTG! Great looking bass.
  7. I've heard the same thing and haven't joined a bass club because of this. I don't have a boat and would have to be a coangler but I don't want to fish with someone that makes me feel like I'm putting them out. Does this happen a lot with small local clubs?
  8. I'm looking at the curado 100 or daiwa sol for casting light lures so I would like some pros and cons of these reels. If you have some other reel to suggest let me know, thanks.
  9. Congrats on your day!
  10. Great looking fish!
  11. I've done great with them rigged on a tru-tungsten weed wacker. Good luck with them.
  12. I'm in a group already but rather sign up with you guys. PM me also.
  13. I have never had any problems with them. I caught a ton of fish last summer with mine. You might want to adjust the eye so it runs straight.
  14. WOW! Looks like she is about to burst.
  15. Sweet looking set-up. What kind of reel is that?
  16. Your reel looks sweet. I might have to do the same to my Revo Inshore.
  17. Lubina, I was looking at the g-loomis swimbait rod but after reading this I might go with Dobyns 795. I'm still trying to decide. As for the reel I'll be using the revo inshore. By the way thanks for the info redlinerobert.
  18. I have the Revo Inshore so I might have to check this combo out. By the way where did you get the handle and knobs from?
  19. What kind of rod and reel do you guys use for swimbaits in the 1-1.5 oz. range. I'm looking to get some ideas for a new set-up and hope you guys can help me.
  20. WTG! Great looking fish.
