That sounds like Florida. Lately when it starts it doesn't stop for awhile and the weather will change in 5 minutes.

The good thing for me is that these lakes are right in my neighborhood so I don't have to go very far. All the lakes are in walking distance. I'll be in Florida forever.

This is how I take most of my pics. The camera is on my tackle bag and I set a 10 second timer.

Got out for about 10 mintues before the lightning chased me off. I went out with a Rapala DT6 and caught one fat fish. It was very windy today so I decided to use the wind like current. I cast into the wind and started to reel slowly and bam. Here is the pic of the bass I caught.

I keep hearing that they are selling the Avid for a cheaper price but I have not seen any. The Dick's around me still have them for the same price. The local tackle retailer also have them for the regular price. Can anyone tell me where I can get one on sale?

What would be a good all around baitcasting rod in the $80-$100 range that I can use for crankbaits, senkos, and jigs. Are the Bass Pro Shop rods any good?

I used to live in Ybor.... this morning it was 42* with 5-10 mph winds. Had on 4 layers...still chilly. : 42! I would be dressed like a eskimo.

Shakey head for me. I have caught more fish year round with this rig than any other. I haven't done bad with a t-rig but shakey is a lot better for me. I'm still trying to get the hang of a c-rig but I suck at it right now.

I rig the zoom tube on a ike spike and it works great. Here is a pic of a fish I caught on this rig.

I have the g-loomis imx mbr844 with a daiwa zillion and love this combo. I would buy another if I had $500 to BPS.

I love g-loomis rods but if I was going to pick one I will say avid. The Avid is lighter than the gl2.

Nice looking fish and lures. I might have to order some of those lures. How do you like the sol reel and what rod is it on? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure if I should get that or the new daiwa advantage hsta.
