  1. Had a nice few hrs out this aftermnoon...couldn't stay home and do nothing so I grabbed 2 rods and hit a local lake and wasn't disappointed...Saw TONS of BIG SLOBS cruising the shallows but they wanted no part of what I had until.....I found the magic bait.....then went on to slam 5 bass in 12 casts!!!!!.....Biggest was 4.0.........Feels great to be out....I swear with the weather we are going to be getting this week the big mama bass are going to be spawning in like 2-3 weeks.........gotta get out while i can before the fish spread out for awhile....Gonna be a great year I can tell!!! Here's a few pix from today:
  2. You just gave me inspiration to grab 2 rods and get out for a few hrs.....Looking forward to seeing the pix!!!....Great job!!!
  3. Got out for a day on the water and what a beautiful day it was and the fishing was excellent!!!...Nothing big but action from 11:00am until 5:pm..Biggest was 3.2....fish were tapping crankbaits all day, and a few on LC pointer...I do believe fishing season is here for good and no snow this year....the fishing is gonna be on fire this year I can tell....Here's a few pix of me and my buddies yesterday having a blast....all together we boated 40 LMB, 15 HUGE perch and one nice snot rocket!!! Thank God for fishing....Nothing beats the feeling!!!....Mitch
  4. From 2011 here's my better fish...ENJOY!! 4.5 pounds from NJ My buddy Tom's MONSTER SLOB 5.5 NJ Smallie!!
  5. I like that combo also but I fish the 3.8 and even the 2.8 FAT Keitech and I slaughter them at certain times of the year!!!.....I wish these Keitech's were cheaper because they are only good for 1 or 2 fish before the tail rips off or perch bite them off!!!
  6. Smallies love Crayfish!!!!...Keep that in mind when choosing your colors....browns,greens, oranges, reds have always worked for me whether it comes to cranks and jigs....they also seem to prefer chartreuse cranks over the white(pickerel love the white ones here in NJ)...good luck...they are easy to catch once you locate them...fish similar like LMB....FISH ON!!!
