Who's fishing waters hold the most beautiful Smallies? This may have been done before but I love to see those  tattooed up fish.

One of the best tattooed smallies I've ever personally seen. A 4 pounder from Milford Lake Kansas. Maybe not the greatest colored but how can you be mad at a smallmouth with a gut like this? 5 poun

Not the biggest I have ever caught, this one went around 16" but the markings were absolutely beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice to be sure

Thanks guys!

Most people are gonna say that fish is a meanmouth/mule. I dont know. But about half of the smallies you catch at this lake look like this, and I've never caught a spot there.

It seems that a lot of those strange looking smallmouth pics are from California (Fish Chris has posted some that look Fourbizz's)

Doesn't hold a stick to most of yours, but I am proud of the catch.  Caught on the Upper Potomac River, she went a little over 2lbs.  I beat this later in the year with a 3lb 2oz, but I lost it while I was gripping the mouth trying to grab my camera out of my tackle bag on the Rappahannock River (wading).

O man lots of "horses" as Al Linder would say. Sometimes the lighting is just right and the markings show up real good. Seems like after some fish have been in the livewell they get some tats then. Heres a couple that I thought looked good.
