  1. Kennedy has always fished shimano reels. When he won Clearlake a few years back all he had was shimanos on his deck. Martens fishes shimanos too.
  2. So awesome chris! glad your stickin fish at that lake!
  3. Braid for every single rod i own. I will fish nothing but braid. only time i use mono and flouro is for my leaders. Braid makes a world of difference in my fishing. From Big 10+ ounce swimbaits to my dropshot rod. It all has braid! Braid is strong,Last forever, small diameter. Its AWESOME
  4. Yea I know what you mean but the Triton Mike Bucca Bull Shad Swimbait has been out for a while I believe and I've never heard much about it. It's similar to the high power herring but it's more expensive though. I've never used it but I'm sure it's different somehow. I'd much rather get them from Randall though to help out a BR member who's an average guy like most of us on here. Plus it's an awesome bait. I think he will be able to make his bait a pretty big hit if he has the time and wants to. Also it would be neat to see someone start off selling there bait on here and locally then one day start to see it on ever tackle website. Good luck Randall I think you'll do great if that's what you want to do! LOL.. Dude look around. The High Power Herring is a rip off of a Bullshad. Randall made it after him and mike had some problems. Bullshad is THE bait to have. They get bit EVERYWHERE. Even in lakes with no shad! The bullshad gets talked about A LOT. thats why Mike cant keep them in stock and is working his . off to keep up with them!!!! Mike Bucca is or was a memeber here too. Bullshad is worth the price it is.
  5. Was reading some older threads and had to bring this one back up. Curado 300 is the most versatile reel around! Its WAYYYYY better than a Cardiff 300. Curado 300 is a little BEAST of a reel. Ive used mine from 1/2 ounce jigs to throw hudds. But i mostly use it for my hard swimbaits. JSJ to 8 inch lunker punker. Baits in that range. Its got a faster gear ratio than i like for softbaits.. It hold PLENTY of line. 20-25-30lb it handles it all! Its DEFINATELY worth the price it is! You can look around and Find the old D versions for less than 150. Its the same as the E just an extra bearing and different color i think, Someone correct me if im wrong though..
  6. You DONT need 2 hooks on a 4 inch bait unless you wanna kill fish. My BBZ shad casted fine when i fished it. I dont fish baits that small anymore or i would be fishing it.
  7. the 6 inch hudd DOESNT need a stinger hook or a trap. fish swallow it.
  8. They have warranties. Why should a warranty cover consumer mistakes? Was just saying.
