I use a rapala digital and it is very accurate.
  3. That is a great story and it would be a treat if I could catch a hog that big. Thanks for sharing!
  4. Bobber stops for me because the don't slip as often. I have had trouble with toothpics staying pegged, but maybe that's just me?
  5. Have you thought of getting a 7' M XF for soft baits like small worms, senkos, and especially flukes? I have one and it handles these baits very nicely. Just a suggestion.
  6. Thanks for all your input guys it helps a lot!
  7. I am looking for a new flurocarbon line that is somewhat inexpensive, yet performs well(little stretch, long lasting, etc.) Any help would be great, thanks.
  8. They are both essentially the same, except for the carbonlite is a lot lighter, has a carbon fiber handle with EVA foam knobs, a lighter spool, and of course, color. Other than that, they have the same physical dimensions. If i were you, I would get the carbonlite, the only down side is that it only comes in one gear ratio.
  9. i agree, get the PQ. I absolutely love mine and i've had it for three years!
  10. Thanks for all the replies guys, I really appreciate it.
  11. Hey guys, I was wondering if small bass would eat my trick worms that I have. They are 6 1/2 inches long, rigged weightless on a texas rig. The bass are pretty small, some even less than a pound, but I can catch about 40 of them a day. Thanks in advance.
  12. I use left handed baitcasters because i cast with my right hand. That way I don't have to switch hands. This also helps if you flip/pitch a lot.
  13. Which baitcast reel would you guys rather have? the Quantum EXO PT or the Abu Garcia Revo MGX?
  14. Thanks guys! I use rage tail craws in the summer all the time, but never tried them in the spring for some reason. I look forward to trying that out!
  15. I've been looking for some new trailers to try on my jigs early in the spring this year. The water is still relatively cold-high 40s to low 50s. Any suggestions?
  16. Thanks, yeah I had a feeling they would be awesome in the rivers around here!
  17. I just picked up some Rage Tail grubs in watermelon and they look pretty nice. I plan on putting them on the back of my swimjigs, and on an open hook round ball jig head for smallies. Has anyone had any experience with them?
  18. Good idea, but wont all the hooks get tangled from flipping it over, if you are storing crankbaits or other baits with treble hooks?
  19. Thanks guys, ill give these a try. I was using 6:4.1 gear ratio with a 7' M rod, and 20lb power pro.
  20. Hey guys, just joined the forum! Anyways, I have noticed that my red eye shads haven't been swimming properly lately. Especially when I burn them, they just flip to their side and they never run true anymore. I love the bait but this is frustrating. Any advice?
