had one chase a fish up on to the back of my boat as my friend was reeling it in he (the gator) was practically on the back deck my friend froze and the gator slid back in to the water, was an interesting experience, other then that they dont bother me much, on Okeechobee they are very wary of people other places where stupid people have fed them well............

Whats going on down there have not been in a few years, water up or down ? have they been pumping ? moving water?

Bass of any sort just are not really hard fighters the bigger they are the less they fight this is a GENERALIZATION but for the most part it just is what it is, with that said I love fishing for bass I live 3 miles from the ocean and 60 from Okeechobee and I make that 60 mile one way trip at least once a week and almost never go out inshore or offshore its just not where my heart or head is at..if your looking for a massive tug/fight bass just aint gonna give it to you, salt is the place for that Wahoo, Snook, Tarpon , Jack all pound for pound will put ANY bass to shame

Myth : a widely held but false belief or idea Im unsure what these myths are but as far as etiquette its a pretty simple thing treat others with respect REGARDLESS of how they treat you as a co angler I offer gas money some accept some dont as a boater in my club gas money is part and parcel and it RARELY covers 1/4 let alone 1/2 of my expense when I take someone out fishing for fun or practice I dont believe I have ever accepted gas money BUT if its not offered chances are a second invite will NOT be forthcoming

I am sorry about this I really would have liked to see ardent keep "made in usa" as is for me "made in china" = NO SALE.. as an aside I still have BPS gear that has "made in usa" on the package

Just some food for thought if you cant afford a boat payment can you afford the gas maintenance and other various things that go along with boat ownership.. Boat= bust out another thousand

Lake Osbourne was stacked this past weekend couple over 4# and numerous smaller..Lake Clarke has had a few but not nearly as consistent

Okeechobee continues to be hot was out this past sat and boated around 50 up to 4#..could not get bit on top though eveything was worms and rattletraps.... was out today and had about 20 in the boat storms chased us off

The water was MOVING at holiday park...water is up and very stirred up at the flats entrances
