being a shore angler, in my area, i can vouche that most ot the people around here are straigh up @ssholes. the almost run over you if you are walking, the just look at you carrying your 3 to 4 rods, when thy have like 20 piled up on there boat, hell i got 15, to bud, but i cant carry them all , lol, then if you talk to them, the just look, i asked one what was the hot bait, hell i wanna catch at least 4 out of the lake this year, and he blew me off, i mean i would understand if i was the boat beside him, in the same tournament. in my area i can honestly see why the word bass thugs exist. before i got into the forums and serious bass fishing i thought this was univerasal. guess there is good guys, when i get a boat, i swear i am gonna pick up randon shore bond anglers for the day.

i have carbonite 6'6 MF with an okuma krios, for all treble hooked topwater, i have seen people use 6'8 MXF with good results, idk why but seen a guy on youtube use a 7'6, to big unless i am froggin i use a 7 MHF veritas with an okuma citrix for buzzbaits hollowfrogs smoke on H shimano compre plastic frogs okuma komodo on 7'3 MHF carrot stix.. all reels are 7:3 lol i beleive that covers all topwater,

i have been using my smoke in the sloppiest places known to man, not pull 5 lbers out, but 4 months and mine is strong/ also not a sponser of abu, but hands down veritas is the best 100 buck rod out there, i may even take it to the bank

H rod, 65-80 braid, fast reel, palmer knot, boy you can toss those things into anything except a grinfer

Yep, give em yellowish white or black, know I have lots of colors, most is for me to see the frog. LOL I am probably the only person to throw the Halloween color spro frog, can see it a mile away

i love my smoke, for my holow frogs, i have felt the exo, dont like it, i cant tell ya why, i havent fished with it, i was told that is has more cheaper inerds, idk how true that is, it is from a bps worker, some at my bass pro, are fishermen but some are sellers, so take it with a grain of salt.

at the end of the day, you have a boat, lol i hear people pulling out of the dock b%tchin about getting skunked, i have been skunked the past 5 times out on the shore, no hard feeling but ya gotta have fun doing wether your catchin wally gals or watching your line fill your spool. trust me i have thought twice this summer on giving up, but i like it, i have slowed down on buyiing stuff though

i would kill if they had a small padcrasher, they blow up on yellow for me all the time, in this pond i fish, they are only 1.5 lbers, when i fish a smalll spro, if they do blow up i do get about an 80% hook up with them

i have a krios, citrix and comodo, all 7:3 for my topwater, buzz, and plastic frogs, couldn't be any happier with komodo, i beleive okuma has a huge silent fan base lol

dang there is such a divided house with lews and shimano, i mean i dont see this much with quantium and abu, just lews and shimano.. me personally a smoke, komodo or zillion would look good on it, lol

yes!!! yes, i did not know that plants growing would clear water.. thinking of getting a transluecent or clearn kvd sexy dog or some spook, read an article fish can see the comotion above but not really see the bait since it is clear... also i have tried silent, lipless, sqaure, coffin, round, bomber,bandit, rapala, lucky craft, ecaliber, xcaliber, nothing on cranks. Were they tried to clean most fo the weed mats from near the shore, big mats seem to be dis-connected and a few slowly float with the wind, lol I know that is hard to picture, but the frogging is good on it, i suppose with out it roots, it will be dead and gone by next week also depending on the wind, at either end, the run off in to a large stream, or at the other end, were a feeder stream runs into it, There is always sludge type stuff, it always depends on the wind as wich end it is, so far i cant tell if it helps or hinders the fishing, it make a mess out of the reels, getting that crap in the eylet and sppol, even the worm drive gets it.

hey since this is about trokar, lol they actually keep sending me hooks, i mean they have sent me some hd 1/0, some small flippen then today i pick up yesterdays mail i have some magworm 5/0 so what can i use the monsters for, lol i coould take em to walmart and switch em out

so one of my favorite ponds at the campgroud i fish did a flip this weekend. it has always been muddy, for some reason i camp after heavy rains and with the mud, it is easy to get it em on hollow frogs, tricks, wacky and spinnerbaits.. well since summer is on, it seems the pond has went all clear. i can figured fluro leaders on my wacky rod. outside of topwater at night, i have no clue. I went this weekend with topwater, a MH all aroud spinning, horny toad and pitchen stick. I only caught 2, compared to like 20 a week, this is the second week with clear water and fishin has sucked. PS, for some reason the i cant get a crank bite, i have spend countless hours and nothing.
