i would bet all my setups, that learning baitcasting will make fishing easier, for some applications. i remember trying to use my spinning rod for cranks and spinnerbaits, my 33 for buzzes and frogs.. so glad.. sorry to OP that these answers arent what ya seek, but i beleive most hardcore bassmen at some point have given in and are using baitcast gear

yea i think youzur is high aint it, thats why i like big game, stong as an ox. i only use mono for 4 rods, topwater-buzzbait, an all use spinning setup and my cranks. my brother is learning baitcastng so i am letting him use the grand slam, casting in the yard.. with all the lashes he has gotten, i am halfway threw the first spool

Live target gills, and i have luck with the Dt 4 blue gill and the xcaliber sunfish color

yea on the komodo, i love okuma, and have been outbid on ebay by more than i can remember, i just dont wanna pay 200 for it, I could never be sponsored, i just like differant reels, idk

This evening i went out and be darned forgot to change out my buzzbait line, i got a small over run, like mabye had to pull a Ft. of line out to fix, next cast, i dont hear snap or anything, but all the line in my eyes soars with my buzzbait acroos the lake.. to top it off it was the 10.00 buzzbait by booyah and well it is sponserd by Dance lol

i had a coupon from dicks, buy one thing of line get another 1/2 price so instead of going with bulk spools of good ole big game, i tried this, awful, random line twists, abrasion, to easy break offs, i thought well bad spool. So i tried the other, hell it was worse, maybe i got a bad batch. I see Bill Dance endorses it, but for the right price, i'd endorse it lol so what are your opnions on it

oh frame, ohwell i needed another high speed reel and it was between this and the okuma komodo, i have never fished a daiwa, so tada, i fish hardcore from the shore, so i am sure it will hold up at least its 100 mark, thanks guys

got to bass pro, get a pro qualifer with a 7 MH baitcasting rod, get a pfluegur president and a vengence/vendetta or veratas rod in M 6'6.. both good starting out combos

to late, just got it, i went to daiwa and it said it had alumminum side plates.

basspro is advertising it around 200 and i can get for just under 100

half price of what bps has it for 200.00

was gonna get one for my horney toads/ ribbits, it is a 7:3.1. it says machine drilled spool. do think if i could get this cheap it would be worth it.

dang i always mess up, posting, anyway i have caught 4 off of the kvd frog, but just wonderin while i was messing with it.

was trimming the legs on one and the rattle or bead or w/e it is, It kept sliding to the back, So the bead slides down to the back, it is hard for the frog to collpase does that really impact the the hook set, anyone else think of this.. ps i am writing this on ipod, hope it looks readable

yea i love my avids, but this time a year i am broke from the gas it takes to go fishing lol in the winter i stock, lol and love my veritas so far, i use my spinning for tubes, so all in all it is a great rod for 100 and id say better than the mojo..

to me i think the double buzz id gimicky, i have never caught anything on em, i like the buzzes with a clacker and the booyah ones with an extra blade thing behind it, but never 2 whole blades... and black/red, purple and the white and chart.. are always in my box

6lb, probably on spinnig gear, you need a higher gear ratio of 7, i use 7:3.1, i know people that have to reel fast but use the all around 6:4 gear as well. thats the main reason i went from spincasting to baitcasting, i wanted to use a buzzbait so bad, but could never get it up with a zebco 33, which has like 3 gears, started getting into bassin and all my gear is mainly baticasting. if you arent using spinning gear, not sure, i do know people have trouble casting 6 lb out on BC.

yea, i started with vicious, went to seagur and now on some other kind, though the are for spinning, now on my pitchin rod, 20 lb sunline, i would put money on that line
