Russels resume
I agree with nwg. But, nwg, you should get your grammar correct also. I also am not being disrespectful but.......the grammar and punctuation are terrible. If I were looking for someone to sponsor they would need to convey the ability to communicate and this 'resume' does not communicate. Being sponsored is not just the ability to catch fish, it also includes salesmanship, professionalism and being able to communicate with people using the spoken word and the written word. I hope you will redo the resume and make it more professional. Good Luck!

Smallmouth Addiction
The smallie is my favorite fish to target. Probably 80% of my fishing time is spent chasing those bronzes around in MN & SD. My favorite time to fish them is late fall when they are feeding up for the coming cold winters we have here. Most of my late season fish come on car. rigged tubes dragged over mid-lake humps in 15-25 ft. of water. Another tactic that really works for me is to burn a 3/4 oz. lipless crank over flats in 5-10 ft. of water. The best part of this late season fishing is that I usually have most of the lakes to myself because everybody else is out pheasant hunting.

when is your weakest time to fish
I agree with Mike, I can't get my cranks to dive under the ice either.

I need help with Smallmouth!!!!!!!
DD your lake sounds a lot like the lakes I fish in Minn. On the points I fish I throw jerks and 3/8 oz. spinnerbaits in the 5-10 ft. range. In the 8-15 ft. area of the point I throw cranks and 1/2 oz. spinners. Deeper than that I'll throw cranks, car. rigged tubes and 3/4 oz. spinners. With water as cold as you're fishing you may have to slow down especially with the jerks, pauses of up to a minute. I use dark(browns, blacks, reds, etc.) spinnerbaits--the body, skirt and blades in the clear waters I fish.

Drained Lake Pics
Those pics should help lead to great catches of bass. Do you have a GPS so you can mark exact locations?

Newbie Bass Information Needed
Hey 12 Gauge, welcome to the forum, Fishing that 1-2 foot cove could produce bass once in a while and I wish you luck. Don't be surprised if it takes a lot of trips to that cove to catch bass. What I hope happens to you is somebody in your area asks you to fish with them on a regular basis. Through the local school here I find out about kids interested in fishing and take as many with me throughout the year as I can, I hope the same happens to you and I encourage others who read this to do the same: introduce a youngster to bass fishing.

Who is your fav pro bass fisherman
I'd go with Jay Yelas. And to GobbleDog---One who turns down a 'Make-A-Wish' kid because he is too busy is not a dedicated fisherman, he is selfish.
-
Who is the better fisherman?
I'm gonna go with vyron's chick. That's a big fish!

How many Bass did you catch in 2005?
Caught 287. Mostly smallmouth and I don't register any fish under 10'' in my log--wastes fishing time>

how many lakes
Here in Minnesota(land of 10,000 lakes) its fun to fish many different lakes. I have my 3 favorites that I hit pretty hard but I like to fish at least 6 new ones every year. I usually don't travel more than 100 miles in a day to fish unless it is for a tourney.

Best technique/bait during cold front?
Must be nice for you guys to be thinking about how to catch bass this time of year. Still got ice here in Minnesota. Good luck to you all! When the spring does come and a cold front moves in I like to use tube baits. With our clear water here we need to downsize and fish slooooow.

Chris's Resume
Hey Chris that's a nice bass. I am a little behind the times, I just got the internet this week, and this is my first day on this sight. Those guys that put you down and knock your nice bass do that because they can't catch bass like that. I have fished in national trails and I say go for it. When you make it those who slam you will probably still be putting people down on this sight, so good luck to you!
