  1. topwater-736 only agree if that's a frog rod. that's one beast of a rod. not a spook/popper rod..
  2. I think I remember reading it's invite only.
  3. F#$8 that....
  4. Glad BPS was able to drop off your "wife's" dress.
  5. casting: dx745 /w daiwa t3 1016 spinning: legend xtreme 69mlxf /w stradic 1000
  6. Before silly Grantman tries to direct you to the 704/703.... Dx744 Dx743 maybe another 734c 784ml for football jigs
  7. braided line would be the most manageable and user friendly line for you. invisX is the most manageable fluorcarbon on the market. if you're new to BC reels, perhaps you need to work on technique before giving up on the line. it's a very easy line to use.
  8. You aren't alone. almost all my largest bass, both smallmouth and largemouth, have come in the morning hours and most of the time there's either wind and/or a light rain. Most have been on a Jig too but I attribute that too being my weapon of choice. I have however almost matched my PB twice during high sky, no wind, mid day on a frog..
  9. If I ever had to go big box, i'd opt for Strike King hack attacks/footballs/bitsy flips/bitsy bugs/swim jigs.
  10. MLF finale airs next week . This week was just a "how the caught em'" episode. I think the texas bass classic was maybe on CBS? MLF is on the outdoor channel. be odd if it were on CBS but who knows.
  11. The cork knobs are not the knobs I want to use. anything aside from cork apparently doesn't fit.
  12. Personally, I use 2 tabs of the lightweight red blocks and call it a day on those 50 size reels. I've never felt the need for the heavier green blocks and can't imagine a situation(s) where something would warrant me using them. If i'm long casting, I only use 1 red brake.
  13. Yes we have spoke. they have had plans to incorporate a solution to their handles not being able to support Daiwa knobs but they currently have nothing available.
  14. They were my first choice. Bummed daiwa knobs dont fit
  15. Had to be somebody... Daiwa knobs don't fit their handles.....and I'm looking for specific knobs.
  16. If by haunted you mean the food is possessed by diarrhea bringing demons..yes. Aside from that, i agree with your statement.
  17. and before anybody asks..
  18. This was actually on cnn.com yesterday... 30 minutes from my house.. The whole cups falling over did it for me.
  19. I'm looking at the swept 90mm. I found these for 62.99 via their ebay store. This includes the entire handle assembly knobs and all? can anybody comment on the knobs? are they like the zillion type r's..kind of in between the lexa and t3 knobs?
  20. This might be the backfire of the month....
