Dicks Warranty And Shimanos
the 20$ off 100$ can't be used with shimanos . The DSG has carried crucials for a while now. I personally wouldn't buy the Dick's in store warranty for shimano rods. I'm pretty sure the Crucials are covered by a life time over the counter warranty where you can take the rod into any shimano dealer and they will give you a new one. Others that have used it could give you a little more insight.

Limitations Of 50 Series Baitcaster
lots of my reels are 50 sizes. their uses range from topwater to pitching. they really can do it all for the most part. i still prefer 201e7s for frogging and swim jigs purely for the gear ratio and line capacity.

Chronarch D7, Core 100Mg7, Or ....
Since you are using it on a probably "heavier" nrx rod, i'd opt for the d7 just strictly for balance and comfort. if given the opportunity to mount either just pick the one that feels better with the rod. after that just flip a coin. both are such solid reels. I believe the ci4+ is a 150 frame(i could be wrong) so it will be a little "bigger". i prefer the smaller 50s and 100s for any flipping/pitching/jig/trig situation.

Which Bearings Are The Best?
it just makes casting the same distance a little easier which in turn makes casting more accurately a little easier as well. a lighter spool costs at times more than twice what it costs for a set of bearings. most of the reels talked about on here don't offer after market JDM spools either like diawas.

Double Uni Knot - How Many Loops?
i think i remember aaron martens saying like 20 or something off the wall like that. i use 10 each way. i only use it on one spinning rod /w light line. i'm assuming heavier line would require less or need less due to smaller guides.

Breaking Strength Of 12Lb P-Line Cxx
12# cxx is some of the strongest non super line i've ever used. unless it's frayed or nicked somewhere in the line, the breaking strength will far exceed anything you really need.

Ci4's Side Plate
that's a shame if true. i really like the hinged side plate.

Best Shakey Head Casting Rod
cumara-no experience with these but a MXF would be ideal nrx/glx-852c for 3/16-3/8 shakey heads depending on the the trailer. if you are putting say a beaver bait on a 3/8 oz head, i'd opt for the 853 at least. as long as the plastic you are putting on the shakey head isn't something along the lines of a pit poss, RI beaver or anything that is pretty thick /w a lot of weight, the 852 would be perfect. your standard 7in trick worm, robo worm, etc on 8-10# fluoro will be great. if you are looking for a rod to throw most trigs, medium shakey heads, small jigs the 853 would be your dream come true.

Best Shakey Head Casting Rod
how small? unless you are almost always fishing a 3/8oz or 1/4oz /w a heavier gauge hook, I wouldn't get a MH. When talking about your standard jig/trailer, 1/4 is considered small. when talking shakey heads, small is 1/16 where the standard is 1/8 and 3/16. If you have a particular brand shakey head that you fish, that would help narrow down the rod as well. for example, using a MH rod for most 3/16 and 1/4 oz shakey heads wouldn't be ideal because of the lighter wire hooks they use. there are some heavier gauge hooks out there though. if the shakey head has a lighter wire hook, get a M rod. generally shakey head fishing is done with light 6,7,8# line so your line is also something you need to consider. "cross the eyes" hook set aren't necessary for fishing most shakey heads so unless you are using some think gauge wire hook, a M action rod will more than drive a hook home. i almost always fish 1/8 oz and 3/16 /w 7# fluoro on a MLXF and MXF. occasionally 1/4oz if it's too windy and 25ft down.

Any Luck With Swim Jigs
1/4oz chart/white brovarney swim jig /w a shorter than I would like pearl subwoofer worked well on smallmouth yesterday.

Preferred Fluoro Pound Test For Medium To Shallow Cranking
15# fluoro for squarebills that has better abrasion resistance. most mid range fluoros handle pretty well after you get the hang of it so abrasion resistance is something I look for first with fluoros for squarebills when i pick from certain brands i use. Tatsu is a great line but I would personally only use it for bottom contact baits due to its price. I liked red label but ultimately gave it up due to it's very poor abrasion resistance and the zebra muscles and wood I fish frequently just eat it up. There's also nothing wrong with a good abrasion resistant mono if you are sticking to shallow cover. it's more buoyant and keeps the bait up a little.

Siebert Outdoors Product Help??
brush jig/football jig/swim jig. all outstanding products that you will love. you can get by with the rubber skirt collar if you want to save a few dollars but the first time you set the hook and the skirt+ jig trailer is hanging on the hook bend, you will realize you should have got the wire tie.

Shimano Citica Or Lews Speed Spool
I just went there intending on getting a citica due to that price is just too good to pass up. everywhere within a 90 mile driving distance is sold out. reel grips were 1.48 for a set after the 50% off and LC sammys and pointer 100s in chart sexy shad and american shad were 13.97 + 50% off for total of less than 7$ . i finally got there before they were sold out. lots and lots of stuff on sale right now along with buy 1 bag of plastics get 1 50% off.

How Many Rods Do You Use.
i try to keep it at 10 with me.

Jig Trailers
Rage craw, paca chunks, RI beavers are what I use almost all the time for brush/football jigs. Swim jigs I use rage craws, 5" grubs and havok subwoofers.

Casting Light Lures Far!!!
the avid 69mlxf /w a 2500 size reel and nanofil will absolutely bomb just about anything as far as you need it.

Best Shakey Head Casting Rod
heavier shakey heads are becoming more popular but traditionally they are usually 1/8 or 3/16.
-
Best Shakey Head Casting Rod
it really depends on the weight of the shakey head you are throwing. although it would work, i wouldn't throw a 1/8 oz shakey head on the same rod or line as a 3/8oz.

Casting Football/ Jig Rod. Sellus Vs Clarus Vs Compre
the labor day sale is coming with most vendors the last week of the month. just wait until then and get a better rod for the same price.

beat me to it. that would be question as well.

Havoc Grass Pig Rigging
not to hijack this thread but since a lot of you are mentioning them as swim jig trailers i have a question...how are the tail actions in comparison to the subwoofer? the local dicks near me recently discounted almost all the subwoofers to around 1$ a pack and needless to say i was out of town and they are all gone and who knows when they will get more in. i need to replenish and they just got these in.

Flouro Or Mono
Fluorocarbon every single time. Fluoro absolutely stretches. Some less than mono some the same or even more. You get what you pay for in fluoro lines. The biggest benefits to me are slack line sensitivity (braid has none and monos is very minimal) and abrasion resistance.

Rebel Frog-R
I used the rebel frg r most of last year and this year. I changed the hooks on it and used it directly next to weedlines and small pockets where i normally would use a pop r. It caught me tons of fish but the bait is a pain to get to walk correctly. I attached a split ring which helped. Most of my fish came on the pause when the bait was sitting still. I added white feathers to the rear hook.

Jigs
Its a very universal color. Strike king makes a rage craw in pb amd j that matches pb and j skirts.
