Price isnt the concern. Time on the water reviews /likes/dislikes are what I'm after.

If buying a new boat or optioning a boat, the cost of the ultrex is on par or a little cheaper than say a 24v 80 fortrex + single PP. Significantly cheaper than a 24v 80# Fortrex + 2 PP. If buying one just to upgrade I can see the price being a bit difficult to swallow. From the sounds of it, it looks like a legit game changer. I've fished countless times in the area Ott was fishing at the Onalaska Spillway and it is, like he said, too deep for poles/talons in areas and can be a PITA keeping your position in the current. Just by watching him, he was holding in perfect position hardly moving an inch with the Ultrex. I'm going to give it over the winter to make a decision and let others use it but I may be getting it in the spring. I can just see how it will make my life 1000xs easier fishing weedlines and below wingdams. It could be a number of things from bad fuel, bad fuel lines, fuel filter is clogged, carbs need rebuilt, and the list goes on. Its not your water pump but if you haven't replaced it in the past couple years you should definitely get that done. If you don't know how to do it yourself they shop will charge you around $200 give or take to do it for you and fuel lines will be around 300 sometimes even more . Carb rebuild is pricey too. Check the small stuff first before you take it to a shop. Empty out the tank and put fresh gas in it. Run some seafoam through the engine. Make sure fuel filter is clean. Make sure all the hoses are secure and not letting any air in. Make sure the primer bulb is staying hard after you pump it.

it will work but depending on the width, it will be very tipsy. adding a casting deck to anything less than a 1648 jon boat seems silly.

Very little if any noticable difference to make any real world differences in your fishing. I use 6# braid with a leader on one of my spinning set ups and have no issues.

It will work with two different size batteries but charging them could be an issue after every use and it will eventually cost you battery life and problems with charging/running. You're replacing them anyway so not getting two of the same would be stupid. Switch them both out to 2 of the same battery. The TM will only run as good as its weakest link. I.E if your 27 is "less battery" than your 29, it will still only run as good as the 27.

A bass boat really needs a larger storage area. try and find a storage unit for the winter and always cover it up when not in use outside. Ok...a little info for your over reaction theater...AP had his best rushing season (2000+ yds) against a stacked box and playing for the leagues worst pass defense, He averages something like 4.6 YPC against a stacked 8. hill will most likely be under center in the spread i formation where AP excels. Teddy in the shotgun was actually AP's least favorite and less productive set up and he was still a beast. He's been in the league for almost 10 years and it isn't exactly shocking to any half brained coach that he will undoubtedly be touching the ball 20+ times a game.This will be one of the best defenses he has ever played for as well.
