  1. The T3 has a small bushing inside th cast control bearing. You cannot get it out from outside by taking the knob off. Remove the handle side plate and then take the clip that holds the bearing in out with a small flathead or needle. Next remove the cast control knob and take out the plastic shaft. Take a qtip or felt tip and gently push th plastic bushing out from inside the bearing. If this is cracked or broken, it will cause a rough retrieve. This piece is a common problem in T3s. also, put the spool back in before putting the cast control knob back on. The short free spool time isnt a direct indication of casting performance though it should be more than 2 seconds. You May have overoiled the bearing or have excess oil on the spool/braking also make sure there is a washer in between the tiny gear under the main gear and the clutch disk.
  2. I always weat long sleeves. Big fan of nike drimax half zips and simms long sleeves. Ill be trying one of those vented HUK shirts this year.
  3. No, line should not cost as much is the Rod. Some of us would be paying 300 to $400 for line Get yourself some 15 or 20# power pro for 12$ and call it good . You're just doing this for fun there's no need to get fancy.
  4. I know of this shiner bite you speak. Fish head spin with a 3in keitech swimming shiner. Tail /w chartreuse dye is key. Stands out from the pack.
  5. Depends where you want the rod cover run to go down to. I like mine to go down a couple inches above the Hook keeper so it touches the top of the bait. I hate them being shorter and having a 12 or more inch gap in between the Lure and the bottom of the rod cover. Anything 7'3 and over i get the xl (for rods up to 8.5ft).
  6. Yes, its a worthwhile super cheap upgrade. no, it's really simple. Take your time and use the schematic.
  7. If I want to use Sniper, I'm paying the extra couple dollars to get Sniper.
  8. Yeah, for walleye
  9. White/grey/clear are the lightest tabs red is the middle grade green applies the most and are thicker dont know about the current shimano lineup but the chronarch e and prior came with different color brake tabs in a small bag with a handle wrench.
  10. It definitely had some stretch in 14#. Anything lower will have the same and more. Nothing really special about it.
  11. Some sweethead on youtube slowed down the scene of Negan bashing in somebodys skull to the point you can make out what people are screaming in the background. Seems like they went with the comic book of Glenn getting it. You can even gear him say "Mag-" before getting his head crushed in (which is what happens in the comics) and then you hear maggie and somebody else scream Glenns name.
  12. Skinny/little dipper swim senko
  13. Obviously if I'm punching me with a 1 ounce plus wait I'm using I have your rod because im fishing heavy grass. However, a senko with a 1/4 oz weight can be punched with almost any rod. Cover dictates how heavy a rod to use. I actually punch with a 1/4oz-5/16oz weight +stickbait quite a bit on the northern pools in really heavy mats and my punch stick. If fish are holding under eight blades of grass and you only need a 1/16 ounce weight and a medium action rod to get through it, you're still punching.
  14. Call me crazy but did you try callng Strike King...?
  15. Ugh, I think it was Glenn. They showed everybody twice excpet glenn who they showed once during the eene meenee miney part. 7 months to go.....

KaRu Vibrashock is a great river bladed swimjig. I'm not a Z-man fan but their new Project Z is a very, very good chatterbait. Trailers range from Rage Craw, boot tail swimbait or a blade minnow/fluke type. All have their place. Unless the bait I'm using is white, I'm also a big fan of have a black blade for most colors. A GP variant / black blade is my favorite.
  18. Why does putting colored accents on your reels make you not a man?
  19. You can punch with any size weight. There isn't a rule that X size is punching and <X is not. If 3/8 is light enough to get through some matted grass, then you're punching /w a 3/8 oz weight. I punch matted river grass mats /w a 1/4oz + stick bait in areas I normally use 1/2oz + /w a creature.
  20. Boomerang snips work fine for me. Or get a sharper knife.
  21. Being that in the comics, Abe was the person that actually took the arrow that went the head, I'm going to say Abe based on how he been portrayed this season. When the director said they are going to stick to the comics but make a hard left turn at the end, I don't see it being Glenn. We might have a Ferguson incident but nationwide if Daryll dies (At least before offing Mitch).
  22. Could be a new manufacturer. Most likely a manufacturering error. These baits are mass produced and have very little if any quality control as far as hard baits go. (hence the price tag). I have some rage craws in Blue Craw in what you would think is 2 different colors by looking at them. The entire rack where I got then looked the same. I thought it was just a newer version of the color. I haven't seen them in that color since(thankfully). It happens. Call them an ask.
