The Road To The Super Bowl
I dunno about gruden, me and the guy at work hope(long shot) for Cowher. It will be interesting to see this new GM and who he has in mind versus the coach and what they have in mind. But with the comments yesterday is isnt Blaine Gabbert, Henne or Teabow. And apparently the impressions from the local sport talk guys were wrong about Khan, he isn't going to get Tim just to fill the seats, he reitereated yesterday it is about winning a superbowl.

Beer Sponsors - I Want One - Maybe
I hear you, we all have that one that is our favorite. No matter what my go to is yuengling if there isn't something interesting to try.....and yes it is sad when light or is it lite beers are the only ones bars carry. That theater is at the exit you get off 81 for gander except you go towards stephens city instead. I liked that area my only complaint with was to find a decent job in my industry I had to drive an hour and a half each way, chantilly and manassas where the two offices I worked at it sucked.

Watermelon Vs Greenpumkin
I like the Watermelon black flake for clear ponds, especially zoom lizards. I have tried Watermelon Red and never caught anything, to me the green seems to be off from the std watermelon. But in the same clear ponds I will use junebug, black/blue flake around day break with sucess and other times natural shad colors as well. I never been a fan of green pumpkin, I have one bait in that color with chartruese highlights and can't catch anything on that but that I dunno if it is me or the color or the bait.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Well our new GM said no Teabow here in Jacksonville and he has other QBs in mind.....Could we be in line for Vick? LOL

The Road To The Super Bowl
I dunno about Gore but Jones-drew is in the final year. Tostin and Murphy were the last backs standing

The Road To The Super Bowl
Haven't seen anything in print, the one guy I was talking with was saying the San Frans O coordinator, maybe.

The Road To The Super Bowl
I never really watched him play. The guys here say he throws a good deep ball but short passing accuracy wains. But If Teabow comes to the Jags, I hope they atleast give him the shot they gave Gabbert, Gabbert had 2 seasons. 2 or 3 years as the QB not having to look over his shoulder or running gimmicks as his only chance, and a couple years of drafting and free agency to build around him, then people can say he is or isn't good. Urban Myer thinks he will excel at an offense in the NFL that runs a spread scheme. I dunno, Jags don't run that. Only thing I know he needs to get the hell outta new york.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Shhhhh that is crazy talk around here. I said something like that because when Denver intially picked him many of the sports guru's thought they would convert him to a TE. Boy I got some looks and even more excuses. Oh he throws a good deep ball, or the system is against him, the recievers suck. hahaha. It will be interesting now that the Jags have a GM, which is why Murlarkey lasted so long they wanted the new guy to clean house.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Well that right there is their new owner Shad Kahn's main goal I think even though he is "all in" and moustache maina is rocking the area LOL He looks like the Natty Bo guy met Super Mario. Seems like a nice dude though, came from nothing started selling car bumpers now owns the Jags and a rediculous yatcht. I am just reading the sports column and getting my inside info from some guys here at the office. Of course they are hardcore, some of them grew up with the jags so they know the ins and outs. This is also brought on because Tim is a local guy and this is Gator country so Myer saying he(Teabow) can win builds up an even greater hype.

Pond Fishing Help?
Try to see if they chase a fluke, when it was chilly here suspending jerk baits, we had roughes in blue/silver or sour grape, daiwa db minnow or bomber long a. If that didn't do it I would work or a small Texas rig. 1/16 or 1/8 and a 4-6" bait, 4" grande bass rattlesnake, 6" zoom lizard and a 6.5" culprit ribbon tail worked back really slow or drug back. That all worked when I fish my ponds and it was in the 40's over night with highs in the 50's

I like how Bellichick runs that team. even with Moss seemed like it was a machine 99% of the time.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Thank God Murlarkey is gone. Gabbert is done. We all want Teabow Time here in the River City. Or atleast someone who is compitent on offense. Talking about Alex Smith or Matt Flynn and trying to build in the draft. Run those schmucks out there a couple seasons and draft a qb a year until the jags hit the gold in the 6th rnd with another Tom Brady LMAO. These folks that have been life long jags fans sure are hopeful

The Trash Is Flying, The Pennants Are Flying, And The Al Central Is Still Terrible
Yeah if utley is healthy i would deffinately bat revere 1, utley 2, young 3 and rollins 5 or 6. Howard is an old school first baseman, like boog, moose, or killabrew. Who care if he zhits over 250 when you have 40 hrs and 140 RBI I will take it, it is when they are slumming it at .200 like Pena and Reynolds that those all or nothing types need to move on.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Yes OMG yes. He is by far the most accurate and better head/thought process on what to do than Vick or Cam. Vicks Vtech/law instincts kick in "RUN HOMIE RUN THEY CHASIN U" and don't think newton is all that savy, not that he can't throw.

Revere in the NL is going to be interesting. Mayberry looked like a solid 6 or 7 hitter as well as Nix. Young frees up Rollins and makes for a great situational hitter at 3 or 5. They need Brown to realize his potential but it is hard where do u put him in the order? I think Rollins is a fine 2 and while I prefer young 3 I feel put him 5 and let brown hit 3 but the kid can't put too much pressure on himself to produce. I see his potential as an Adam Jones. The real ? is utley. Harper is raw, IMHO he shoulda played the whole season in the minors he is 19 for crying out loud. He will be 1 or 2 more seasons from reaching full potential.

The Road To The Super Bowl
Cam is good but what happened to the O-line and running game. That is more concerning and I think hurt cam this year. Don't follow the panthers much except for fantasy value and that didn't pan out for anyone lol. I personally don't think Flacco is that great, think he can be like Eli numbers wise but hasn't shown the guts n grit Eli has in the playoffs or as a leader. This is what his 4th season though. The Sun and media would have u think he is top which I think keeping with what people want to hear rather than see. What impressed me with RG3 is that he had the season he did without an elite WR. Shoot Garcon was our 2/3 of the year? It says a lot about 2...RG can execute, and laugh all u want at the shannahans but they had great planning coaching and play calling. Morris helped too. Flacco I don't think could took them to the playoffs if he was the skins QB If cam had that kinda coaching and running game behind him lol
