Chilly out their this morning but the rapala and diawa jerks were calling them in today, lots of hits in 30 mins but nothing over maybe 13 inches, lively little fat guys though lol

I fished stren most of my life, use trilene for backup reels/rods cuz it is cheap. I loved the megathin I used and was very high on that. Still good line but I finally wanted to try something new and found some sufix elite onsale. It casts great, silky and soft no memory,it is not as stretchy as the megathin, so I picked up some sufix siege, even better, a little stiffer and very tough but no issues. Needless to say I probably won't be using stren or trilene again.

I try to avoid shiman at all cost. Pflueger or Quantum....even zebco before I take a shimano

Dude I own three pfluegers and love them, from 50-150 price range they can't be beat, but given the chance I would own the new Smoke, espeicially the inshore model.

I used to use 4/0 EWGs but Check out these long neck hooks. http://www.doalures.com/store/index.cfm/category/75/hooks.cfm They are really good, they fit the fluke and swimming fluke really well. they are made for saltwater fish so the duribility is there, they are thick and a little heavier than EWG and the best part is the how they sit on top. The long necks have a slight turn up were as the EWGs tend to sit flush, the hook up are way better like this. You can still skin hook them, the hook just doesn't bury itself like an EWG sometimes does. I use the 3.5/0 for super flukes. It is pretty much these hooks are designed for soft jerk baits, DOAs C.A.L., where as a EWG is a utility hook for various soft plastics

Nola should be rooting for the Ravens. Ed Reed is from that great state, that enough IMO to garner the support of the host city crowd. Plus they want to be on the winning side.

And I am just playing devils advocate for the Brady hate, he truly WAS one of the best qbs, but sadly his time has passed. My two key plays would be the Ridley fumble, cuz if you all would scores that drive it would have kept the ravens momentumn down. And Brady's first pick was the other, it was 8 or 6 minutes left, that was the must score drive right there, put it to a 7 or 8 point game with 5 minutes left, and a ravens punt Brady would have had time to tie it.

Yes, yes that is my point find an XT new in box now as they are discounted and it is basically the same as a purist but seen the XT as much as half off. But with the purist they shaved an once outta the weight 35 and 40 size reels if that matters. Plus they don't come with a spare spool this yr. I like spare spools one with mono and one with braid.

The new 3.6 six in the dodge/jeep are so far pretty good. They have gotten a few awards put out good HP and Torque numbers. My caravan is getting an ave of 22 mpg and a highway trip from Jax to Orlando crusing at 80 mph got me a hair over 25 mpg. Have about 3000 mi on the thing, so far so good.

Pflueger is the way to go, best reels for the money. Just picked up a President XT to got with my President 20 and Templar 35. Try to hunt an President XT down, they stopped making them in 2012 and I got mine for 44.99 that is half off for the 40 size. That thing is soooo smooth. If you can't find one of those there is the President, Purist, and Supreme that hit your 50, 80 and 100 price points and are worht every penny.

I agree it might have been different if the pats could put it away in the first half. And Flacco sucked in the first half...... But you also have to admit adjusting at half time, excecuting on the plays they didn't in the first half , the ravens coming out in the second half and scoring two straight drives with Pollard ringing ridleys bell took the wind outta the pats sails. It wasn't just the pats blew it, the ravens came back out and played better the second half, if they played the first half that good the pats wouldn't have had a lead. Oh and while your mentioning the pats players blowing it lets not forget Mr. Brady can't go without any blame. The last two drives by brady when he got picked, it looked like he was like I gotta make a play, no where to go, throw it and hope my guy can make the play. That second pick was a crappy underthrown ball, if your gonna miss, miss high give llyod a chance to jump.
