Recently watched some video on a few matches from the Pan American championships. Jeeze those BJJ guys are legit. 15 minutes of going at it nonstop. Watching 6 yr olds is pretty amazing too. Crazy when you see some of the moves they put on each other, last week they were working on x pass and Kimora from guard.

Love my Carbonlite. I Have a MH/F super lite and plenty of back bone. Fish mostly weightless or lite weight Texas rigs.

I got a M/F ugly stick. I wanted a cheap number two for some hard lures, poppers and jerk baits. Man I don't know if it is the glass or the rod but it is the thickest, heaviest junk with a mushy tip. Only thing worse is if it came with cork grips. I wanted to spend a little more and get a Shakespeare inshore select, the BPS sales guy told me why waste the money. I will stick with my carbonlite, or at least a graphite rod from now on. I still fish with it and everytime I hook one I think how much this thing sucks and I should start using my old Abu conlon rod that is 20 plus yrs old.

The family is going over my parents house, life long Marylanders just moved to FL this Oct., will be eating Chili and hotdogs and beer. I had a nice explanation typed then my phone crapped out. Basically the have 4 groups of anglers you pick one from each group who you think will do well in an event and you get points based on their performance at the event. High score wins. Some prizes are given out from various groups. Bass is giving jerseys to the top 10 and 2500 to the winner.

Texas rigged plastics, 7 and 10" ribbon tails, lizards, creatures. Colors that work for me, watermelon, Redshad, junebugs, black/blue, blues or purples. Anything with blue or green flake or one of those with red flake I would try. Spinner baits, rattle traps, soft swim baits like the Big EZ or Skinny Dipper style, flukes. As far as fishing spots can't help you out man, haven't been fishing there. Hope that helps you out. PM me if you passing thorugh Jax maybe able to help you with a spot or two here.

Rage has a saltwater lineup, shrimp, crabs etc. in another thread I was asking Big O about them for bass. He indeed said he has used them with success. Here on the St. Johns you can catch a bass on a live shrimp too. Besides a shrimp and a craw are similar in profile. As far as colors many of the plastic shrimps I have are white, chart/silver flake, oranges/copper, rootbeer chart. I would use them in a pond, seem all pretty typical colors. dunno about eletric chicken but if you score them on the cheap then try them. Also checkout bomber saltwater grade. They have a website and you can score some decent stuff like the badonka donks, heddons, and swim jigs for 2-4 bucks

Well the Yankee person that was quoted said, "does A-rod really want to go through the pain of rehab to only the a partime player if that when he returns". So the Yanks are trying to get him to "retire" LOL but I am sure they will void the contract if he is found of wrong doing with this Miami clinic. I can't see them paying him to sit on the bench, this new regime is all about getting under the salary cap and lux tax while trying to be younger and decent. Then the story was saying there are a bunch of performance and milestone bonuses set for him. The contract was 114 million left, and I am not sure if that is the gaurenteed part or including some of thoses milestones etc.
