  1. Grigsby got a nice 4# 11 oz fish. Anybody following on BASSTrakk at bassmaster.com?
  2. I have had the SK bitsy hooks bend on a fat and feisty 13" bass recently when I was testing my sons rod out after spooling new line. But if your countdown is the smallest size they will catch you all kinds of other fish that won't bend the small trebles, I have gotten many a sunfish or bluegill and suckers too on a tiny countdown in perch color.
  3. It still does in Le Mans Series, ALMS or the Rolex/Grand Am series. They have maintain their homologation process which is very similar to what nascar used to be with regards to producing cars for racing. Granted while they actually produce the cars raced, no normal person can afford to purchase them. LOL That is why I enjoy the GT and GT1 classes, and Ford and Chevy are involved with the Grand Am series with both the contental sports car and the prototypes.

I got the email this morning from lurenet. The color in the picture I really like. It is not on the website yet, can't wait to see the rest of the colors.

Gambler's Big EZ aint too bad either, they also make a nice paddle tail worm. Bitters Naked Swimmer is a nice one too.
  6. Yeah I see retireds point, up until this year the past several cars have been required by regs to have aero packages for all makes to be exactly the same. From what I hear and read, the Gen 6 cars are allowed to have the aero front bumper and some features the of cars they are manufacturered have. So instead of a ford grill painted on it will be a ford grill and ford slits in the bumper not a smooth bumper with a rectangle so to speak. Maybe this will lead to aero being a little more worth while in production in the future? I hear picking up a draft is a little more difficult.
  7. I hear wood burning facilities are the wave of the future. Coal, nat gas are good too, an abundance but not renewable.
  8. Fishing your home waters? Yeah man I am about to have number 4 in June, a little girl. At least I will be able to enjoy spawn lol last year I was moving in march.
  9. Baitfish colored trick worm. Rest of the colors I use are pretty standard, junebug, watermelon seed, red shad, baby bass.
  10. Well thanks for the input I will steer clear of Hamilton. Chapman was a stud for me last year. Any word on him starting? Didn't baker have some first round quick exits with a cubs team? If they don't make it this year then I do think it is time for him to move on. But then again they will have a tough road if the match up against the Phils or Nats.
  11. I was pulling for the reds last year in the playoffs too. I like baker and you all brought a lot of your talent up through the system. You have a good fun team to watch there in Cinci.
  12. So fantasy circles like hamilton. What is the deal, Cozart to start at short? He looks like he has some pop but nothing much else. You think if hamilton has a good spring he can push him to the bench?
  13. Been good man and U? Same old same old family, fishing and work. Looking forward to the warmer weather at the end of this week. Monday was brutal, got notta but my son was off school so I had time to fish before work.
  14. Sitting here at work, on a slow day surfing a fishing forum talking about work. LOL
  15. She raced 3 yrs in Britian, she only finished 2 in the formula ford festival, highest for an american yes, but that is one race(no consistency and really how many other americans compete). And really her situation can be compared to Red Bull/Toro Roso and Scott Speed, money and the drive for an american F1 driver put Speed in the seat of an F1 car even though we was not the most talented guy on the grid. Did he finish above other F1 drivers well yes sometimes, because he drove a slightly better car than or he had an exceptional day for him, but was he capable or talented enough to be in F1.....Uhm no. And I was partly being sarcastic when I said champ car, I was making the point they threw her in a top level race car. Thank you for pointing out that it was indeed an Indy car which were much more tame, than the turbo charged traction control-less cars used in the superior CART series. Which brings up how funny it is that the IRL suceeded financially over CART when CART consistently had the better drivers and typically demostrated this in the Indy 500. Thus demostrating my point with Danica that talent doesn't trump money or breaks or a better executed plan.
  16. Yeah I hate not being able to purge the extra layers out, but the Cad expo I attended in Dec. the 2013 version will allow you to purge unused styles. The layering off and on is one of the worst things to get used to.
  17. Cool man! I been using C3D for the past 7 yrs off and on. but consistanlty since 2008. I am used to it, I like it. I started grading on bum wad and digitizing contours into LDD and then used LDD very heavy for a while. I love the annotation(mutiple scales and dynamic links), and the dynamic links between profiles, surfaces and pipe networks. SSA is still quirky, but the way things work here the PEs run that and I get stuck with figuring the import back in and updating my pipe networks which is an issue. The hardest things IMO are learning all the ins and outs to building surfaces effectively and getting people, mainly upper management/construction estimators and IT/resellers, to understand things are not as simple as what the demos Autodesk puts out to sell the product. Things are more complicated and site specific than they account for. Sorry to ramble and get off track, but it is rare I can talk to someone regarding this. message me any time.
  18. That is the thing I don't quite understand what barrier? There was no ban on women, there was infact a women that raced in nascar previously. Women where racing before her and will be after her. She has gotten some exceptional breaks that normal male racers wouldn't have gotten. Talent wise she hasn't won a championship at any level. she finished second once in her british series she ran in and finished 3rd during one year of toyota atlantic then thrown into a champ car. C'mon most these guys run karts since birth and toil for years before they make it to the big time or consistently win championships to quickly climb the ladder. She has done neither. Lewis Hamilton won the F1 world championship in 2008. Becoming the youngest and first black driver to win it. It was on a international stage. This guys is super talented look at his career and how much he had to do to make it to top flight. While I am not a fan of his, there are far more likeable racers, with better attitudes, Robert Kubica, I don't dispute his accomplishments, he can drive a car. Danica got major breaks that were more for PR and money than talent.
  19. Sounds like you have a very accomplished career, it is pretty cool you started with something so you and it led you so far. I hope my kids can have a similar experience to be able to find a job that they actually have a real passion for. I love my line of work, I take pride in what I do and am skilled at my craft but I cannot say it is a passion of mine.
  20. It kills me here at the office they keep it 70-72, I rarely where short sleeves. funny how a few degrees can make the world of difference in feeling hot or cold.
  21. How old is he now? He is one of the best looking Rotties I have seen. Very impressive dog.
  22. So who are the top rookie targets? why? I am liking Wil Myers, Billy Hamilton, Gyorko Straily, Buaer and Skaggs. I would like to get one position player and one pitcher, Tehren and the pitcher for the Cards are also intriging options. I like Myers to give pop off the bench, Hamilton would be a sweet deal if I could steal him low enough and put a higher pick at another position. And I am liking Gyorko because of his potential for 3B #'s at the second base position. Straily would deffinately be my top choice. I love strikeout pitchers. Skaggs number look solid too. I like Bauer because he will get innings and I think his numbers where a fluke last year. Eaton and the cards pitcher might be too high for unproven talent for me to draft.
  23. I believe there is an opening for a super, just saying. LOL
  24. 75 in the winter and 77-80 in the summer.
