It is all good. I like coffee too! No need to call out sick I am gonna have my cake n eat it too lol hit the big bass spot for a hour or two on the way into the office. Saving my PTO days for field trips and when the old lady drops number 4. You have yourself a good trip as well.

Jacksonville, Fl Small Lakes
I know some of the few guys that fish bass at work enter but these guys have been doing it a while. It goes for a good cause. Another tourney you should check out is the el cheapo. You can find a boat for that one, and I hear it is super fun.

Would You Call In Sick To Go Fishing?
Jeeze flippin have a bourbon n relax lol Personally it is never acceptable for me to lie, I teach honesty to my kids. If your in the position not to worry about getting canned then hats off. I have been chasing work for the last five years while I have been ahead of the storm most of the time I have seen people put down and out. I value my morals and my employment. Family and employement come before fishing even a once in a life time chance. You kinda struck my nerve about you throwing the freedom and choice, or lack there of, to serve in the armed forces but man I don't totally agree and it doesn't give you any kind of free pass, but that is not the point. I will leave it to a thank you for your service, we are both free to disagree.

Would You Call In Sick To Go Fishing?
I am with you too. I don't call out sick to begin with, only time I take is for family vacations or business. If it is last minute an not a family emergency then there is no reason to 1) lying and 2) not showing up to work. I value integrity, honesty and a sense of duty especially for the folks that put food on my table and tackle in my box....just sayin.

New Tackle Sugestions
Some shallow cranks, if budget is a concern bomber square a's are good, buzz bait, heddon spook. If you want to add plastics lizards, grubs are good, ribbon tail worms are a must have. Some 4/0 EWG hooks and 1/8 oz bullet weights for the lizards and ribbon tails.

Boulevard 80 Acre
Time to revive the beer thread...... My wife likes to pick me up beer when she's out, usually the coolest bottle wins. She got me batch 19 prohibition style lager. I saw it is made by Coors was kinda thinking how good can it be. Well it is pretty good, tastes waaay better than bud, miller, regular Coors or even yuengling. I was impressed.

Bristol Was A Snoozer
Lotus who knew it would be Kimi's easiest win ever! LOL Looking forward to seeing the Houston race in both Moto GP and F1 this year since I missed it last year. Love the ALMS because of the diversity and technology, you can see street cars from the US and over seas to whay out there prototypes running on deisel or electric powered at close to 200 mph The Rolex Gran AM series isn't bad either, and some of their cars/teams have NASCAR affiliations through, manufacturers, owners and/or drivers.

Kidney Stone
With mine, if I drank fluids I was pain free for the most part, it was when the well went dry it started bouncing around hurting things. It all depends on size with passing them, my experience was similar to Oregon Natives, which is not the worst of the passing experiences from what I hear but still fun. Good luck, God Bless.

Rod To Pair With President (Spinning)
BPS Carbonlite, I have a 6'6" MH with a president XT, it will cast a mile, use it for exactly what you want. Plenty of hookset power and sensitivity. Worth every penny IMHO.

Texas Rig Vs Jig
I like texas rig better, I am personally more comfortable with it, and I fish a lot of grass here in FL. I agree with those that say T-rigs catch more fish but jigs get bigger fish. I like T-rig better for two main reasons, it gets hung up less, and you can switch size, shape, color of the bait very easily with out retying and wasting time. (which is important to me)

Spring Bass
Similar encounters to the OP males on beds catching them on craws but the females yet to show. Usually throw senkos as a summer type bait but I will give it a try tomorrow. EDIT: Pulled a couple 16-17 inchers out this morning on the senko type near a few beds by a drain culvert. Wish I could have stayed longer the action was just getting going when I had to leave, got there way too early, but at least a couple of fish made for a good start to the morning.

Wagon Family Car Need Advice...
That is awesome I like it.....but you are missing the point that Chevy is competing in international racing, this aero design is similar to Ferrari FF v12 hatchback and the BMW Z4 coupe. Corvette just won class at the 12 hrs of Sebring so these guys must be doing something right they bested Ferrari 458, dodge viper gt-rs, BMW z4 and Porsche gt3 rsr for their first top step since 2009.

When Does Winter End?
I know man it is supposed to get into the 40's for lows again this weekend. Like hot no cold no hot no cold. Come on I need consistent 80's! But still the cold days here are not really depressing as they were up north and I can still fish. Lol
