Best Thing To Throw This Time Of Year?
I never fished for bass when I lived over in St. Pete but up here in Jax they are moving close to shore. weighless flukes and worms, top water poppers, buzzing plastics like vibe worm or horny toad or buzzbaits, spooks. I have seen some really nice ones lately caught on cranks, like the SK 1.5 style square lips, even if they are grabbing weeds, lipless cranks too.

Nice Jax, what were you hooking them on? The pop-r's and weightless stuff close to shore is starting to be hot for me.

Boat At My Jax Spot What Should I Do?
d**n, the ponds up in JCP are that old, I didn't realize it. The ones over in Bartram and up on Longleaf Pines/Veterans are only like 5-7 years old. Somebody done stalked your spot out LOL

Favorite T-Rig Baits/tactics
I fish texas rig 75% of the time, my main setup is a MH/F Carbonlite with a 40 series President XT and 10 pound Sufix Seige. My personal favorites are Grande Bass rattlesnakes, 7" (Culprit their smaller worms have more ribbon) and 10" (Gambler best action/colors/plastic) ribbon tail worms(which I hated when I started LOL), lizards with 1/16 to 1/8 oz bullet weights. The rattlesnakes also work well on a belly weighted hook and weightless too. I throw flukes, trick worms and senkos weightless T-rig 95% of the time, ocasionally I will put a weight on a trick worm. The incredi craws are pretty good, you can take the ribbons off and work it a few different ways for several different actions. I have the 3.5" and would recommend getting the 4" because my only complaint is you need a smaller 2/0 or 3/0 EWG or a straight shank flipping hook would work better for the smaller size. I also like the zoom ultra vibe craws on a small EWG or shakey head and they last like 20 fish. Also check out Power Team Lures Texas rig jig, it is on my list to purchase. I want to get into some creature baits this year myself as I slowly build my T-rig plastic collection.

Jacksonville Fl Shore Fishing Help?
It depends what publix u are talking about. The one by me was built in 2007, dunno when the fish got in it but I got a few 3-4 pound fish. Lots of fat fighters in there though. If you people complain about small fish you should really scout your ponds better, age of the pond, when/size of fish that got put in and forage type/abundance all factor in to the size of fish you catch. Do your homework kids.

Bass Pro & Megabass
I think your right JRob, TW has some pop max for 19.99 and then some I think are the JDM colors for 28.99 their pop x are 17.99 and a back to the garage for 26.99 Which I believe is a lower price than a few months ago for the standard versions as I have been pricing for a while maybe bps just hasn't dropped their price to match.

Shoot trolling a few of the websites today, slow day at work, and noticed the pop x is 3 to 4 bucks cheaper not on sale on most sites versus the 21.99 on BPS.

Ford Vs. Chevy Question
Yeah but everyone forgets to mention all the recalls. LOL Honda and Toyota sell on PAST reputation browsing through one of these threads makes mention that this is occuring with some of the Japaneese reels Go with what you like, looks and feels good, in your price range don't worry about the brand until you find what you like and stick with it.

Pond Fishing
Flukes, lizards, horny toads are a couple other options. Depending on size of the pond, if pond is small enough that I can walk around it in 5 or 10 minutes then I typically try a topwater all the way around. then go back to key areas like points and structure or where I may have missed a strike with some slower plastics and take some time. You can never go wrong with a weighless senko style stick bait either if the bite gets tough try that. My personal favorite is a grande bass rattlesnake.

What Did You Buy Today!?
Pop max in glitter blood. Can't wait to try it out

Bass Pro & Megabass
Only reason I mention is the pop max is the one with the full gill slits. Think they retail for 28.99 NIB on most tackle sites.

Best Lure You Use ?!?!?!!?!?!
Rattlesnake T-rigged weightless or with a 1/16 oz bullet wright. Never fails me.

Bass Pro & Megabass
Online BPS doesn't list selling the popmax, you sure it wasn't the pop x? On another note the selection of colors isn't the best either. Other than White Python and GG bass they are average.

Bass Pro & Megabass
The BPS store in Orlando told me that they only get a few of the baits like Jackall and Megabass in stock at a time. They didn't have any at the time of my visit and said they go quickly when they do get them in.
