  1. http://www.bassmaster.com/tips/welcome-splitsville This just came in the mail the other day. In here it talks about the types of shot Klein uses and why.
  2. Man the Phillies are awful, Cole Hamels is 1-7 one win in seven quality starts that is rediculous. Who would want to pitch for them know they have no shot if they give up 2 runs. C'mon where are the bats at?
  3. I agree. because last week I only measured 1 fish. LOL the rest were all under 20"
  4. Cueto is back! hope he has the good stuff like earlier this season. You think we will see that Cinigari kid again this year? Hoping so, he just got dropped in my league, if I can I will get him and stash him for later.
  5. X2....Bluegrass Brewing Burbon Barrel Stout is awesome. I mean there are a bunch of good ones aged in whiskey barrels.
  6. Sure wish I picked Miller up in both my Fantasy leagues when I had the chance. I like Adams, Craig, and Carpenter good group of hitters there.
  7. Nah I think Mvorbrodt and Fstr are still alive too. They have 3 or 4 good fish as well. It is a 4 horse race.
  8. Same here again slow fishing is the biggest thing I learned. Actually what both you guys have said is what made the most difference to me personally.
  9. Looks like they shoulda left him where they found him.....5 starter spot sucks for the O's If they can just make the playoffs then they won't need it, but Hammels looked shakey then Johnson emploded on us this weekend. But I gotta say my traded for Machado has paid dividends!!! Bailey went down a week after sent him.
  10. How many fish is that? I think you posted 4 right? With me it depends my best 3 go for 63" and if I throw in that 15" I haven't posted yet I am at 4 fish for 78" Which I might post all things considering, I swung and missed this morning. They were there, didn't bring anything with me they liked, was trying different baits instead of senkos and rattlesnakes, they shunned the pop-r this morning too. This is a lot closer than I thought! Still going til the 6th right?
  11. It is like that a lot in the morning you will get there a little before dawn and there is a peak time when the light is just right they are on the hunt for 15 or 20 minutes then it is too bright they go and rest for another day.
  12. Yes it is a penn. dutch thing. common only in Pa, Md, and Va....I hear it is similar to souse but different in texture because scrapple has the corn meal within. But when your used to lobster bisque washed down with a mug of clam chowder, you tend to scoff at us southerners fine eats. LOL
  13. Been keeping my own score, but I think Alex had 4 fish and Fstr had 3 or 4 dunno the totals of theirs though....I think it is the 6th. So You have time to cull LOL I have a 15" I haven't posted because I am going Monday to get 2 more over 20" Nice fish by the way.
  14. NH.....Organic food....Bakery.....I bet you make some killer brownies. Can you hook me up with some free range scrapple?
  15. Looks great. Like the color.
  16. You can rig the floating worms weightless and jerk or reel steady on top. Or you can add a weight or put on a shaky head and they un weighted end stands off the bottom then twitch, hop, or drag it.
  17. Beautiful fish.
  18. Went back to the pond from yesterday, that produced. Got 3 but they were all around 15" or under. If I work tomorrow I have the perfect spot to stop on the way in....
  19. Sounds like the IRS better start looking into their phone records.....Just saying.
  20. Respect also starts by leading as an example, it will trickle down to all facets, other people, animals etc. When I tell my kids to do something I use please and thank you. I usually used mam and sir at work but after seeing the profound affect this type of addressing one another had in bjj on my son I began addressing all my kids like this. It is amazing how willing to obey when there is a little respect. Cuts down on arguments. Respect is a two way street. A lot of people require it but fail in respecting others, this especially holds true with ones children(especially the way I was raised lol). I know I was guilty of it. I think this is a common thing with these kids, their parents fail to set an appropriate example
  21. Might try some Horny Toads, they were my go to last year.
  22. Good luck buddy you have some catching up to do. ;0
  23. Went out and scouted two new ponds today. Fished the first one with success got two in 30 minutes. a dink on a rattlesnake and this baby on a popper in addition to another miss on the popper both are same fish, it was floppy and I got a crappy pic everytime I went to take a pic it would move I would reset, we will call it 20" .....3 so far put me at 63" Second pond saw and had a couple missed strikes, one felt nice, hit almost instantly and didn't get a good set, never surface. Saw a big blow up too. Might hit them again tomorrow with some different warfare.
  24. Check you inbox I can help you out.
  25. These teens today seem to lack emotion and empathy. I have seen and hear stories of them doing horrific acts, like this 12 yr old that stabbed his sister and blamed and intruder, hurting animals. Society in general has seemed to have taken to a ME type attitude, less interaction with other, more with tv and games. Makes me feel like there is no hope for my kids growing up in a world with these type of folks.
