  1. I think you pretty much got it Rock. Parts market is like any other commodity market, sure manufacturers eve in other countries do this. Parts are made in numerous places and shipped to an assembly plant in a particular country. A lot of basic parts like screws, gears, bearings, foam or cork grips etc. are done offsite at factories specializing in that part, not specific to one industry. People don't realize this. Key is the companies QC standards regardless of place assembled, good products come from all over, china, Japan, s Korea, USA. IMHO when you buy from an American corp that makes a product in a foreign land you still put money in the American employees that are in marketing, management, engineering, CEOs (we all know trickle down economics work) etc. really it is just the assembly line workers that are cut out versus buying Japanese and sending 100% of the $ overseas. So I take that into account as the product I buy cuts the mustard for me. Just my 2 cents
  2. U can usually find them on eBay they typically sell 2 or 3 to a lot and free shipping you can save usually 5 bucks off a retailer if that matters to you. Kinda like buy one get one 50 percent.
  3. Sounds like some of the stuff you are doing is a little fast for the summer IMO.( Not that i am qualified to tell you what your doing wrong lol)I fish small to medium ponds from the bank and During the hot summer, which has been here for 3 weeks or more now, small weightless (t-rigged, sometimes wacky) worms like centipede, rattlesnakes, trick or senkos fished weightless and drug painfully slow, 2-3 seconds per 1 turn on spinning gear. Or a 10" ribbon tail (brush hogs lately) fished on a 1/4 oz T-rig and thrown out let it sit for like 2 minutes then a hop, let it sit some more and repeat. I fish the early morning start topwater then weightless then t-rig. I start at a normal pace to slow pace and slow as needed. I also have had some luck following bluegills popping bugs on the surface, bass have been near, or watch for busting fish. Top water works sometimes, in my experience they tend to be smaller more active fish, but a falling bait works even better IMO. The bigger more quality fish seem to stay low and wait for it to fall in their face. Figure out if they like faster or slower. Sometimes it does get tedious but it will usually land a nice fish or more in a couple hours I am out there. Hope it helps, good luck Monday
  4. Dicks here in Jax has some spro in store, I know they have the Mcstick, Frogs and Bucktails I would imagine they might have or could order little Johns And I know Gandermountain carries all their stuff. We are lucky to have two up here in St. Augustine and North Jax. So if you have those two retailers down there then check them out.
  5. Zoom ultra vibe speed craw in bullfrog and the Culprit Incredicraw in watermelon seed.
  6. Those caddys are sick. Loved them since Letho was throwing their LMPs around against the Panoz and Audis and the original CTS Vs took on Derek Bell and the S4s in the speed world challenge. Have you seen that one where it has the super charged wagon! that is sick too.
  7. Lol I know they are worse than trying to take pictures of my kids! Every time i click they flop like as a person blinks in a photo hahaha
  8. It has been 90's up here, dunno how hot you all are below the equator LOL Heat slowing them down in your area too?
  9. Email the pics to yourself. When you hit send it give you the choice of sending fullsize, large, med and small. Send them med and then when you open the email hold on the pic and you can save it back to the album at the smaller size then upload.
  10. Finally got a decent one to post up on a baby brush hog. But tomorrow is my last day fishing for a while so I didn't worry about a pick with the tape, did a quick measure and she was a solid 19". Besides it looks like AK is the only one playing this month, but where are the pics bro? LOL NIce work AK keep it up you got this.

Seasonally for me the best action is right around spawn/post spawn and stop once it gets past the bluegill spawn and hot. April til JuneNow it is more walking type baits like spook or jumpin minnow.
  12. I own 2 Cardinal 563 with the Conolon rod combos from when I was a kid. They still run like new, even took one out to fish some jetties a couple times. They were great.
  13. Nice! Kabar makes some sweet knives. Actually there is a guy here that hunts with a gun for boar. Since they are nusance and on private property I believe you can bait them and sit in a blind and POW POW POW. pick your favorite semi auto rife and light up the pack. I also know down here there is a place you can go hunt and they do night hunts, pretty cool they have the night vision scope etc. Sounds like that ought to be on your x-mas list LOL Also you catch the episode of Red Jacket gun show. They did this awesome AR mod from a .223 to a socom round to blast them piggies. It is good stuff either way you do it with guns or dogs.

Pop Pop pause, small twitch, pause....repeat.
  15. or you could just stick em LOL I took a look at that forum, did you see the Solo hunt thread? Dude had 2 dogs, a cur and a bulldog that would work with others. Good looking working dogs. That is all you need LOL
  16. More than I thought he had, I dunno, he has been stuck in irrelevance for me, playing on the mets, getting hurt. Just don't really see or hear much about him. He still should be captain though LOL
  17. Yeah I did, couple times...see first reply
  18. Mookie Wilson and bill Buckner would be fitting lol
  19. I always seem to overlook scherzer. Last year he had a crappy start and I dropped him man I regretted that. Never woulda guessed he would have gotten better. I dunno I still think Darvish has an edge.
  20. Sounds like it is time to get you a catch dog and some hounds to go with that feist LOL Fresh Bacon, chops and ribs!
  21. I love how most of Cespedes homers are left center to right center. He just stays on the ball so well and drives it, and when he does pull it he crushes it. His head never moves and on the pulled shots rarely does he open up. Man that is a great swing! Wright had 1 30 hr season, I wouldn't call him a legit prenial HR hitter. He would fall into the Cargo, Trout territory IMO.
  22. Orras are on sale now. If you go to Land_Big_Fish they have the SX casting reel for 79.95. I think they are running a 20% off Orra S and SX both spinning and casting and Veritas and Villian rods and thay are having 15% off fathers day too, don't know if you can apply to the 20% though.
  23. For super flukes 4/0 and weightless most of the time, keel weighted hooks are good to go deeper and faster fall and I have seen and heard scrounger jig heads are also good ways to work this bait. Texas rig hook size depends on your bait. anything from 2/0 to 5/0 I personally wouldn't use a Robo worm. I like to Texas rig weightless senkos 2/0-4/0 EWG, trick worms(maybe robo) use a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG or Worm, zoom centipedes 2/0 EWG, grande bass rattlesnakes 3/0 or 4/0 EWG or Worm. I rig weighted with 1/16 to 1/4 oz bullet weights baby brush hogs 3/0 EWG, ribbontail worms 3/0 to 4/0 EWG, lizards 4/0 EWG, grande bass rattlesnakes 3/0 or 4/0 EWG or Worm I don't do the drop shot.... I pick lead, because it is cheap and expendable. BPS and Walmart have cheap lead bullet weights the BPS are painted. Usually use black nickle colored hooks. Owner are my favorite, Gammies are number two but BPS XTS Magna EWG hooks are good and best bang for the buck so for sizes I use a lot, 4/0 I use them.
  24. Nice fish! What kinda lure where you using? I still have yet to make it to a saltwater spot this year.
