  1. A Pop Max first day out with it, my second bait over $10 in my life and last one. That sucker cast a little too well, it is now 30' foot up a tree over 6' of water. My Pop-r landed some nice ones this year I will stick with those from now on.
  2. When you do it the way everyone is talking about you are attaching(uploading I guess is the correct term) photo to the thread so you do not have to worry about that as you would pasting the img link.
  3. Good and Bad. My head to head I was in 1st the first 5 weeks, I have sunk to a new low, 7 just been getting out played or everyone slumps at the same time. Very close loses too. Though I cannot complain about who I drafted and the numbers they are putting up. Looks good on paper. except maybe Weiters he is not impressive for a fantasy value but love him as a catcher on my team in the real world. My roto league is stacked, picked up Cole and Wheeler before anyone else, I am 20 plus points ahead, cannot complain there.
  4. Yeah I know, but it is real tough to get in there. That is the one spot I could see using casting gear with a high test braid, as well as bug spray, snake boots and brush chaps to keep the thorns off. Props to you Jersey boy venturing out into that mess LOL j/k My main reason I don't fish them is I don't have the right gear to haul them in, but the time or two I fished there I saw some nasty top water hits from big fish.
  5. You can also bend the barb down with pliers. It helps get the hook removed without damage. As long as you keep the line tight you shouldn't have a problem losing too many. And you have to weigh possibly lose a few but save a few. I will bend them down when I fish plastics that I have had this problem before, "slack line" presentations/hook ups if you will, such as flukes with me, I tend to do a long sweep and they hit before the slack it out and engulf the bait.
  6. Sorry I figured I will talk about something since there are no pics....yet lol bow sounds sweet though. You shoot any chipmunks or squirrels? Bet that arrow hits them hard enough to pin them to a tree branch like on the cartoons lol
  7. ^^^ Yep that is the spot I am talking about on Wells too.
  8. Zoom Centipedes...
  9. Cheswick oak follow back to spencers plantation off Argyle forest. Turn left there will be a big pond to the right(behind condos/apts) and further down a small on to the left. They are the ponds in there from before the houses use google earth to locate and then run a timeline you will see. The smallest has the biggest the biggest has some good size fish. I personally never fished it but this was passed to me by a buddy that moved away from the area and lived near there. It is too far for me to worry about traveling to. There is street and visitor parking. Good luck Edit....Most the ponds around there have fish, Also the big pond on Wells road, coming from Roosevelt on that first exit off 295 from the buckman. it will be past a couple turns and to the left. Plenty of cover and culverts to toss creatures or a senko at I hear.
  10. Microtechs are sweet!
  11. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/power-players-abc-news/made-usa-journey-behind-label-112854639.html?vp=1 Interesting story that is somewhat pertinent to this thread, just thought I would share.
  12. What two knives did you trade?
  13. Blue fox is part of rapala. Check them out online all the companies are linked together. Are you talking about the minnow spin? Pretty sure that is the only blue fox lure with a minnow type body that I know of. I have one in fire tiger, like you said it will catch anything.
  14. any of you all see the film knuckleball? It was on Netflix, pretty good. Chronicled 2011 season of Wakefield and Dickey as well as their back story, it also had Hough, the Niekros and Bouton in it. Dickey and Wakefield seen like real decent stand up family guys, I will definitely be rooting to Dickey to turn it around up there in Toronto. You know the guy is missing his UCL in his elbow. Totally had to works his A$$ off to get to where he is at. A worth see for any baseball fan.
  15. Cool pics, thanks for posting. Don't get to a lot of car shows, family doesn't "get it" Lol Love that 96 grand sport and the silver and red sting ray. How much was the silver 90's zr-1 style?

I agree clacker and raider. Deffinately poor training was involved. To go with what you said about small dogs I see so many people that tolerate dominance and agressiveness in a small dog, they can over power it, it is cute, it is funny. But when they bring the bad habits in the relationship of a big dog then it becomes dangerous. Putting animals above people is a bad thing that is more and more acceptable today. People need to remember they are animals put here for our use, we have a moral obligation to treat them well and with respect but they are not equals to humans and do not have the same feelings or rights like some people think. Sad story sorry to hear about the family and the loss of their pets

Don't think that was a cig you were smoking homz. Lol j/k
  19. http://www.bassmaster.com/tips/welcome-splitsville I caught on to this technique after reading the above article. I kinda use it as an inbetween drop shotting and Carolina rigging. It covers more up and down in the water column were drop shotting you have it at a set length above the weight. I use little hops or sweeps the bait floats up to the length of the leader and slowly falls back down and let it set or and a few wiggled then repeat. You can move it faster than a drop shot but not constant like a Carolina rig. If the situation calls for it I will slowly drag it like a mini C rig as well. I usually use a vibe speed craw, centipede, 4" senko or rattlesnake. I like the idea of a single or twin tail grub. I am gonna try that.
  20. Good post snook I agree 100% with the CEO salaries. I would like to point out there is a recent trend of companies rethinking and bringing call centers and manufacturing facilities back here due to 2 main things, quality control and cost. QC has been difficult to establish recently and taking significant time and money. Also these countries are waking up and workers are requiring more wage and better conditions, governments are requiring a bigger slice of the pie. Did you know in the republic of china a factory is owned by the government. So china gives permission to said company to build a factory, company pays $$$ and builds it. Then after a number of years the chineese government can basically come in and give them notice they are taking the facility over, the said company has to get their equip and relocate as far as it was explained to me. We just did a proposal over there were this occurred, however their new facility is still located in china due to the product produced is directly tied to Asia. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing more stuff made here in the states or at least different places overseas than we are used to seeing.
