  1. I think if lee has 3-5 yrs left then they should keep him. Kendrick is a nice number 2 or 3 and so is hammels. Hope Halladay is not done but look to next year as a rebound. The two move I think they should make is getting rid of Pabelbon and Adams for younger reliefers or position players.
  2. Yeah tx, ny, Baltimore were all no trade teams. Yeah brown is on fire. Galvis is doing alright too. Rollins is hurting now? Hearing pablebon trade rumors too
  3. Yep after they trade Lee....http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/cliff-lee-philadelphia-phillies-prepared-to-be-traded-again-060313 And apparently the O's were reading my post here, cuz they are mentioned in the talk....Screw Guasman and Bundy trade them for Lee. We want Lee.....We NEED Lee!
  4. Stuff it in a perogi anything works inside a perogi fried in butter. enjoy the visit, and make sure brings an extra bottle of zubrowka for me! na zdrowie! Seriously tho, I always like my fish blackened. If you check out a local fish market they usually have some spices, rubs and frying batter that are good.
  5. http://jacksonville.com/news/florida/2013-06-03/story/jacksonville-channel-deepening-study-could-consider-removing-rodman Interesting story from many angles.

Here in florida, most of the time I see yo-zuri it is associated with saltwater fishing. I haven't seen duel before until you mentioned it. Most of these lures aren't created with bass fishing in mind, the colors and designs are based for salt water species. Now my buddy has a gold floating yozuri that he has been using with good success in our local ponds for bass. They work, people just tend to use more tried and true bass lures.
  7. How much did that fish weigh? Awesome looking fish. I have to say I have not fished the old horny toad nearly as much this year as last and the times I have were swings and misses. But I am insipred to break it out next time I hit the water.
  8. My favorite is the Rebel Pop-r. Love the rebel 50th anniv. twin pack colors. I need to pick a few more packs of them up. Most of the big fish I have caught topwater were on pop-r's
  9. That is what a suppressor is for LOL
  10. I use 8# elite in lo vis green for my jerk/top water baits and 10# seige in smoke green for my soft plastics. Love both, I used to use Stren because it is good line and have used Trilene because it was cheap. I deffinately think the quality of the sufix is better from the way they put the line on the packaging spool to the line itself. The elite is very "soft" felxiable and castable, the siege is very durable and just plain strong, does have a little more memory than the elite imo.
  11. I used to hate them, couldn't buy a bite on them then this winter just used them and used them til I got the hang of it. I fish my 10" ribbon tails with a 4/0 EWG and a 1/8 oz bullet weight. I have had luck on long slow sweeps, couple quick jiggle of the rod and rest, dragging or very slow retireve, and just letting it rest. The thing about the tail is that it is the "flash" that catches the bass's eye, but you don't have to keep it moving steady. Also times when it is windy or water current will keep the tail a going with out you imparting much action. Like the above post says, the fish will tell you how they want it that day.
  12. Can't blame the ump for not seeing the angle on the pickoff call but WOW that sucked for the Phils.
  13. I have seen the humdinger keith poche power spinners, it is a screwin piece and I seen them used on a stick bait. While I was looking at them I saw Owner has something similar to what was described above, think they are called flashy accents, having a swivel instead of the screw lock. I like the idea of the swivel on the hook like post 16 mentions.
  14. Got this 18-19" incher this morning.
  15. Good looking fish! That 20" is nice and healthy. Good work, you came back and are right up there.
  16. Lol when I lived in St Pete they would show the Yankees over the hometown rays.....I rather watch golf than a Yankees game

I would guess it was looking for that mouse. In Winchester we used to find them under the porch all the time where the mower was kept and sometimes in the basement. It is also mating season so maybe it was in search of a mate or a place to lay. They will come in through anywhere, probably same path the mouse got in. Just tell you wife be thankful you don't have to deal with scorpions in the house. those are really nasty and great at hiding. painful sting I hear. We have found 1 in our place my parents have found a few in theirs.

How did you figure out it was a garter snake? I mean myself know the obvious difference but you stated you didn't know what kind of snake it was at first. Just curious. And to be a *****, but reptiles are kinda my thing/pet peeve so I appologize in advance for correcting you but it is a garter snake, not garden. And though they are not venomous, they musk and deficate when you handle them which is a good enough reason not to handle them. LOL
  19. Spook, Rebel Jumpin minnow or pop-r. And X2 on the earlier. 5:30 to 6:00 is the best time right now. By 6:15-6:30 they are off the bank and back to their cool dark place. Like WW2 said after the topwater slows I go to a fluke or senko or unweighted plastic worm.
  20. Good report, nice jigs...Thanks for sharing

Never tried absinthe but want to. Point isn't about scared to try it, I figure if they describe the taste like paint thinner why buy the ****. Mark is right rather enjoy something. If someone gave me a taste free of charge I probably wouldn't decline. Just don't understand how it will take off here, unless it is so cheap, then it is time to worry wether it is paint thinner lol.
  22. Man Hamels imploded. Phil's are pretty hopeless now, the only bright spot IMO is brown looks decent. They should just trade lee to the O's who at least have a decent lineup and bullpen. Starting pitching is their lack. Tell u what it was disappointing to see gausman struggle wacha comes up n light out for the cards. So far all these talented pitching prospects yielded a mediocre starter in till man and a lefty setup man in the pen. While the rest struggle in the minors or with injuries. Guess it is on par with the expectations of Weiters and what we got, a good solid catcher but not the second coming of bench.
  23. ^^ nice one man. Things been going to that summer pattern lately oh so slow n weightless. U been to Walmart lately? One on Phillips had spooks, rebels and bomber saltwater plastics for $2.50
  24. It lives! Man haven't seen u post in a while how u doing?
  25. Thank you! I am looking forward to seeing ur catches. Gotta get my fix some how.
