Map Coordinates Help
NAD29 woulda been used for a 1960's survey. Next datum that came out would be NAD83, current is HARN adjustment. But not in common to have an assumed coord system that may or may not tie into the state plane.

Moving Down To Florida
It is what you make of it. Man you will be good here, year round fishing, nice weather. Atleast in St. Pete and Jax the ponds around most no one cares you fish them. And most are not that heavily pressured. They ones in subdivisions are sorta bland but each one has it own quirks and if you fish the same ones enough you will learn them. And you can get some nice fish out of small ponds. plus there is always a chance to start saltwater fishing too. I tell you will find a nice piece of beach and wade out and work a top water plug. Let google earth giude you.

Would You Drink It?
http://www.delish.com/food/recalls-reviews/chinese-baijiu-firewater-marketed-america Favorite part of the article "U.S. Meat Export Federation in Beijing, explained, "I thought it tasted like paint-thinner and felt like a liquid lobotomy. However, like many other things in China, I eventually grew to like it."" That above statement reminds me of the movie good morning vietnam when robin williams asks about the beer. The man in the shiny green suit says "Formaldehyde. We put in just a touch of formaldehyde for flavor. Some people get sick, yeah. So if you have to be rushed to a holpital, then when you return, I give you a free salad." I think I will pass. Bet there is better things to drink out there.

Is This Racoon Rabid?
They are point and shoot kinda dogs, not to say they won't sniff out an opponent, but they mostly work them on running barns etc. for coon or sending down ground hog burrows. You gotta love a dog that loves to work. She sounds like a good one.

Garage & Your Baits Storage?
X2 SirSnookalot is correct. All my gear is kept in the garage on a shelf in the original packages. It doesn't get hot enough in your garage to do anything too them. And a plus to the garage and trunk is there is no sunlight beating down on them through a window.

Map Coordinates Help
The bottom number looks like a northing and easting. Your map is probably on a grid system, the map in one of the corners should say what the system is based off of. Cal have several zones for their state plane coordinate system, or the map could be using just an assumed coordinate system but should have a point to relate to lat/long and/or real world coordinates. Use a geodetic calculator(use google) to convert to std lat/long in degrees minutes seconds.

Vacationing In Micco, Fl Area
My wifes grandparents live in Barefoot bay. I hear that is a great area for all kinds of inshore, nearshore and surf fishing. Beautiful area, looks great for boating. We have visited them twice, that last time was just a day trip it is about 2 and a half hours to them from southern Jax. A little north is Port Canaveral if your into the space thing visit Kennedy, I think it is about an hours drive. Other than that I don't know.

Florida Bragging Rights
First cast of the day with my new Rebel Saltwater Jump'n minnow in Bone (got them at walmart for $2.50 along with the chubb creek popper, saltwater spooks in chart, black head chart and bomber saltwater long a's they also had bomber saltwater plastics for $2.50 got some mud minnow curltails in pearl/silverflake). It was my only fish, crappy pics it was 20" the marks on the tape, thick black is 12" and red is 16" I will take a nice pic of the tape so you can clearly see the pics. This sucker swallowed the whole thing, I watch the wake following and paused it just opened its mouth and swam right through it just like the whale gulping in Jonah. LOL was a ***** with the trebeles that deep though. I was later light wise then I liked, and for technical reasons I was not at my normal area on this lake/pond.
