  4. Got one about 16 inces this morning that was it., missed 2 strikes. Didn't get a pic
  5. Nice fstr! What was working for u today?
  6. Sounds good to me. I might go MH/F for the T-Rigs. That is what I am using to throw similar plastic, you can really drive home the hook in weeds on a long cast.
  7. Check out powell diesel, fenwick or falcon and bass pro carbon lite before you buy that abu. IMO if a company cannot qc or makes a product that delicate then it isn't worth the money and time.
  8. The phillips one they are at the end cap, right next to the zoom bags. you will see the lures hanging. I missed that box sale and only had limited selection to begin with.
  9. What kind of crank? the craw cranks? I never had a problem with any rebel but you check out the Pop-rs and jumpin minnows that is what rebel does TOP WATER
  10. dude they are almost sold out, but I tell you pick up a Rebel jumpin minnow in bone and black n gold. awesome topwater for 2 bucks. You woulda fainted if you saw the three crates of heddon spooks at the san jose WM last weekend when I went back they only had a few in black/chart.
  11. Man I went to a spot i havent been in 4 months, skunked.....Fishing way too fast and frustrated. Gonna got with what worked last year, weightless small plastics, and stop swinging for the fences with big worms and lizards. Maybe some flukes. Hope tomorrow is better. Nice fish Czar, what were you hooking them on? I need any tips I can get at this point LOL

Why is it all the good baits are discontinued? Lol I have heard about those jimmy walking baits....eBay has a few here n there
  15. http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/eye-performance/201307/mlb-pitching-tom-house-frank-jobe-pitch-count-arm-stats-elbow-shoulder I have to say that my opinion on this is stop teaching 6th graders how to throw a curve and having them throw a million innings as hard as they can throw to get to the stupid little league world series. Just because the coaches and dads weren't good enough and didn't win anything doesn't mean you have to make your kid into the next walter johnson all you do is turn him into the next sandy kofax or tommy john. Let them be kids and play. The other half of the problem is these dad that coach don't have a clue and teach improper mechanics. When they are in highschool is when they should be taught this stuff. and IMO it even shows in cases like the DR where kids play ball all day year round. they play waaaay too much and waaay too hard as youths and their bodies are deteriorated by the time they are grown and ready to play in the bigs. That is my 2 cents and I am sticking to it.
  16. Ok, the pic on the website, had a little bit of a different guide around the spool. I honestly ran across it yesterday looking at the *** and *** green saltrods. But it was so intriuging I read up on it.
  17. Is that the teardrop?....that is 13 Fishings new ice reel. Edit: Looks like the same concept but it is not the teardrop. but if you go to *** website it shows a pic and a breif write up. It takes the line twist out of ice fishing from what I gathered
  18. Don't be fooled you can throw a lizard any time of year. In the winter they can be effective(EDIT: here in Jacksonville during the winter). I tend to pick on the size of bait and retrieve. Big and slow I go 10" worm. Medium sized with a drag or slow swim go with a smaller 7" worm or Lizard A small bait with a hop, drag or or looking for a strike on the fall, creature/craw or small stick or finesse worm

Yes they are discontinued and can get pricey. They are good solid baits and in decent colors from what I read and hear they have a following. I haven't been able to get my hands on them as they seem to go for more than I am willing to pay, more than their shelf price most times. To the OP if you want something you can pick up or order check out the bandit footloose. BPS sells them as well as online retailers. They run about $6 bucks. Norman also makes a reasonably priced wake bait Here are some more options http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/13159-favorite-wake-bait/ http://www.bassmaster.com/tips/wake-bait-awakening
  20. Yeah man, I agree with Lou, we are here to share and collaborate. The only thing I can understand holding back is the location of the actual spot but region, lure and time of day should be posted with your catch.
  21. Pretty neat idea. If they don't catch fish they will deffinately look good sitting around the tackle table LOL. I am pretty sure I read the same article you did Felix and yes that concept of small baits inside big bait and to run in the water with a action that will make fish eat it is a super engineering deal right there. Has anyone heard a price?
  22. I swung and missed again, it is part of summer. There will be good days with lots of bad in there. Wait til the trop storm comes, look for the pressure drop a day or two out they will turn on. During the wind and rain they can still be on. As far as color goes I dunno I don't fish jigs. I have had success on a kissimee blue gambler before in muddy windy conditions as well as clear water, it is a black/blue with green flake. Redshad or black red is always decent and then junebug. my pumpkin creatures do well too. Just keep at it. Good luck....to both of us!
  23. Tastey recipe for you http://expertvagabond.com/hunting-eating-chipmunk/
  24. Raider you can post up some cool pics of you flexing in the mirror with your crossbow. Just don't go shooting any chipmunks or it could be used against you in the court of law.
  25. Nice fish, sounds like it a good time bringing it in.
