  1. Dude I am afraid if I came to your house I would end up dead on the side of the road. This is a creepy thread. Happy Halloween.
  2. True but when has that stopped some people LOL...It stops me sadly, but there are plenty of spots to go around.
  3. Hahaha, thanksI am not 100% but think if u camp over by the shoals and Suwannee then you can chase the spotted/shoal bass over there if your interested in checking that off your bucket list. Just another idea.
  4. Depends on where you are at but it isn't bad. Last 2 weeks of Dec. last year hear in Jax I caught some nice fish almost every trip(2-3 times a week). They were were feeding and getting ready for the spawn. They almost stay in a fall patern and go straight to prespawn pattern so you will get fish. A light texas rigs worked sweeping or slow rolling(not dragging - a bit faster than dragging). Ribbon tails, lizards, rattlesnakes on the Trig....Senkos, flukes, lipless, jerk baits and spinnerbaits were ok too as far as I can recall. Even if the nights are in the 40's or 50's water still stays up in the 60's or higher. A deeper pond(since that is what I am used to) stays active better than some of the shallow retention ponds.
  5. I thought it was a hula popper?
  6. Checkout near lake city, Sante Fe river, and there are springs all over. Right off 75 so they won't have far to go off the beaten path.
  7. Holy crap that is huge! I have caught and seen some nice cats on the Patomac but DANG! I can tell you from experience that Gulp minnows and leeches smell like nothing I could imagine! I had a bag leak in my pants pocket once, never will use that again LOL
  8. Rodman resivior has a campground. You would be right by the Ocala national forrest, there are a ton of ponds/lakes and then you can probably rent a boat for the main lake. IMO I would find somewhere near Ocala in the national forest or go to the west like Crystal River, Homasassa Springs. The rviers there are beautiful, you can rent a house boat and camp on that. But check out the map below....Up here in Jax fort Clinch is cool but it is more salt water and no fresh water fishing really I can think of and for the most part Jax and St. Augustine are more history and beachy type parks if that is your thing. http://www.floridastateparks.org/findapark/stateparksmap.cfm
  9. That one with the growth on its jaw aughta give u a couple extra inches.
  10. I already claimed fstr....but u are lucky I am 8 hrs away!!! I will do this alone!! You weak mortals that need boats and "fishing buddies" I WILL SHOW U bwahahaha

  13. Lol that is funny. Too bad he didnt get any sheemano jabs in
  14. Like I said earlier I am gonna have to give in and go with the weightless sticks and flukes since you all seem to be slaying them with those baits and topwater and texas rig have been slower
  15. Love the second pic down Culter Jay LOL......I woulda liked your post but apparently I reached my quota of likes for the day
  16. LMAO What the heck I am trying to figure out if that is Martin or LMG's wife.....
  17. I will call this 13.5" sorry for the tapes zero not being clearly shown, I have a good 2" before the tapes numbers start. 10" Gambler Ribbontail in kissimmee blue with a 3/16 bullet and 5/0 EWG I think this puts me at a whopping 28.5" LOL watch out Lou I am sneeking up on you.
  18. Booyah has a new rig for this. Looks a little like a bama rig but with just a single line and snap to attach a crank.
  19. That is one skinny fish tightlines, nice work tho on finding the fish. I been seeing getting a little rowdy around my ponds but time and dialing them in are a different story. Not liking topwater too much or texas rigged worms. Might go Fluke and senko next time.
  20. No it was ranked like 12 in the country for craft beers. We got some good ones....Martin ever give you zubrowka or wyborova? Now that is what it is about! And don't get me wrong either I like my whisky and whiskey just fine but I find the old no 8 is bit too much $$ for what it is.
