Well I fish a spot with a few pads, it is getting cold and they die in the winter. The weeds will die too, if surface temps start getting cooler like I know algea and stuff needs to be greater than 75 or 80 is prefered for it to bloom. They might just be deep? or if it is shallow, cold and shut down. I found that spot after spawn, by that guy at the office here, so I am waiting to see spawn if we can see beds from shore there or not.

I was keeping a log in excel, but once life got busy and fishing slow about july I slacked and could never get it back on track. Hopfully this helps me get back into keeping up with my log. I like the "stats" of it, kinda like baseball and football box scores you know what I mean. LOL

What you mean they treated the water? You ain't trying to keep me off your spot LOL....I haven't fished there since the summer and I got skunked two times and had one fish the other. But what did they do? There was a big gator in there last time I was there in July.

I got all yall beat(finally - something I can win) I got 4 kids LOL so there is no hope for a boat until they are outta the house. Drain on the wallet....that is why Rage and GYB is off my shopping lists LOL I do have to have rattlesnakes though and I have been patient for a couple months now, Nov 15 I am getting some. Your right LMG the kayaks go for probably the same $$ or more but I was saying that more for launching they are lighter and easiey, no ramps around these ponds, easy in and easy out. you know what I mean.

Not to knock the alum boats but here in Jax with the spots we have a kyak or canoe is probably better AK. There is a guy here at the office that kayaks the tinesel town pond chain and the pond at gate yall hang out at. He landed that 10 you are ooggling over there.

Maine what impresses me most about you are so dang consistent through out the seasons, you know your stuff bud, and can put the puzzle together. I see so many folks, including my self that are either limited by personal prefrence in lure selection and/or by not being able to adapt to seasonal or situation differences. Well done, I also enjoy your write ups and info.

So when out in the morning, missed a hit on a crank. Lost it...ticked it was becoming my new favorite. It was a bass colored xcalibur fat free fry....Yes I know bomber makes them this was old, got it for 2 bucks at dick with its 1999 packaging. lol but it was awesome, it was a holo bass color, like the bill dance bombers of today...green top white holo side, orange belly like this but with a shallow square lip 3-6 feet ...SO MAD Nothing much doing on the TX rig....tried couple different things, finally landed two small ones on 6.5" culprit fire&ice with a 3/16 weight....Me thinks the wieght was a bit too heavy but I didn't feel like re-tying. I am beging to dislike braid, it's becoming more confidence thing than a pain. Here is the 12 inch....that is 4 for me. Gonna give it one my try tomorrow or thursday morning before calling it a month.

Yeah but the 2-3 times I get out are an hour or maybe 2 at the most. At least y'all have time to figure things out. Here I am typing when I should be fishing. Lol
