  1. I love using Buzz Baits, I like to slow roll them from when it's almost dark until 11 pm, (even early in the morning) or when they quit biting. For me too slow rolling it produces way more fish. I don't really use trailers, but I do use trailer hooks. It seems I miss WAY more fish if I dont have a trailer hook. I like a 6'6 or a 7'0 MH rod, and since I fish near grass and wood I use 15# test fluro. Works for me hope it helps!
  2. You can, but for me the more rods you have for Bass fishing the less time you use for tying on lures. That equals more fishing time and less line waisted. People use different rods and reels combos to fish a technique better.
  3. Chartreuse Spinnerbait, just seems to catch fish any where.
  4. I think your correct that you didn't slit the belly, now Im not so sure if it will affect the action; but I dont think it should affect the action of the bait at all. On other swimbaits (such as the the SK Shadalicious Swimbait) I always slit the belly; Which will increase hook ups. I haven't picked up the Sick fish, but I'm pretty sure slitting the belly should do the trick.
  5. Spot on, GADawgs.
  6. Looks like a sick bait! Can't wait to get my hands on some!
  7. For me it's a black (sometimes with chartreuse strands) Buzzbait, slow rolled over the top.
  8. I'm with ya!
  9. Well my guess is 18, I didn't know there was this many people on BR my age.
  10. X3 for me!
  11. Abu Garcia for me, but everyone has a preference. Go to your tackle shop and feel each brand.
  12. Drop Shot for me too; other rigs work extremely well under certain conditions, and produce bigger fish. Yet the Drop Shot can catch big or small fish anytime; extremely helpful for tournements.
  13. I have one and I love it! Can't beat the price.
  14. I don't have it, but everyone that has told me about it has said the The Boomerang tool "The Snip" is the best cutter for braid. From what I have seen it cuts it really smooth and evenly; no matter what type of strength or line.
  15. Ok thanks for the tip.
  16. Yes, I understand; I'll have gloves, a face mask, fans pointed at me to circulate air, and opened garage doors open at my grandparents when I pour. I will be EXTREMELY careful, thanks for your help.
  17. If I order the mold does it come with the manual you are talking about?
  18. Thanks for all the replies, your help is appreciated.
  19. Ok, so my grandpa has a melting pot for making weights, jig heads, etc. So I decided to order a mold from TWH; I decided to get the Football Jig Head mold. My only question is what is the difference between weedless Football mold 1, and weedless Football 2. Any help deciphering the differences between these two would be appreciated. It won't let me post the link to TWH, so just seach "Jig Molds" and it should come up. Thanks, Ben
  20. Evolve DarkStar Swimmer is my favorite fluke bait.
  21. X2 on the Silver Max. I love mine I don't use it for pitching and flippin; I just use it for Crankin. The PQ is a great choice for $80
