  1. I like to stick a Berkley Gulp creature bait on a texas rig and fish normal bass places. I catch a mix of Catfish and bass all day long
  2. I have a Pen Rod, that shrinks down to the size of a sharpie I use on hikes and such. Camping i use a St Croix Medium/Light Backpacking Rod that breaks down into 5 sections that are only like 12" long, but together the rod is 5 and a half feet tall. BPS sell small ultralights that are like 4 feet tall too
  3. I'm the exception, I use 8 lb test mono, as I believe it gets more bites and gives the senko more action
  4. What body of water did you catch it from, looks gorgeous!
  5. Depending on the color, YUM has the 6" on their website, I just saw 6" Junebug Dingers for $3.49 a bag, I'm sure there's other colors available. BPS also have 6" Dingers in stock in multiple colors for $3.49 a bag
  6. Texas Rig Wacky Rig Senko Jig Frog Crankbait
  7. Channel Catfish Snapping Turtle Bluegill Crappie Bull frogs Pickeral Bowfin Bullhead There isn't much that I haven't caught that won't bite a senko
  8. This seems like a pointless thread. I did this, but I'm not showing pics, and no one can ask me questions. Heck I can do the same thing, I just caught a 25 lb largemouth from the local lake, but I won't should anyone pics, and won't answer questions about it, but yes it happened
  9. I fish a small lake loaded with snapping turtles around here. I throw a wacky senko a lot there, and do well with the bass, but I average 1 - 2 snappers a trip on senko's
  10. I can't even open the file, dang netbook I'd love to hear more spots too. Thanks!
  11. I love the little pond in the video
  12. I've been fishing there over 30 years and know enough to write a book about that place. What lake were you fishing? What time of day? I'm getting ready to move to Isle of Wight and if you can help me find a few lakes out that way, I'd appreciate it. Let me know what you need to know about Lone Star.
  13. We do the same thing with dog food and bread in saltwater creeks and can catch 100's of gudgeons in each trap
  14. Your a braver man then me, between water moccasins and the millions of snapping turtles around here, I won't go in it, and if I were to fall in, I'm lightening quick to jump out
  15. What do you bait it with? Hot Dog? I assume meat of somekind
  16. Can you catch crawfish in the minnow trap? Just asking since they sell a similar trap made for crawfish, that looks identical except for a larger opening
  17. Hit the Chowan River, one of my favorite places around.
  18. Northwest River is worth the drive. Very scenic, lots of lilly pads, fallen timber, cypress knees, and such. I've always done well there with good numbers of fish but not much in Big bass. The river is also very good for Yellow Perch in early spring
  19. For me PBJ, catches more then any other color, but I fish a lot of clear water.
  20. I'd love a Deals subforum, but I doubt it'd ever happen
  21. I searched the entire Senko sticky and couldn't find the answer to this. I'm trying to maximize all my fishing time on the lake, and save as much time as I can. If I plan on fishing a wacky rigged Senko a lot during the day, wacky rigged, Can I take a bag of Senko's and slide the o ring on each one before hand and put them back in the bag, without causing some damage or other negative effects to the o ring or worm? Seems like this would work and save a good amount of time. Thanks!
  22. I fish a small drainage pond at a nearby shopping area and have caught bass up to 7 lbs in there, and this pond is AT BEST 1/4 acres, and I doubt it's even that big
  23. On Kerr Reservoir years ago, the water was like 18 feet above normal pool, and lotsa of shoreline flooding was taking place. My partner and I both started fishing unsual places and catching bass. Under flooded picnic tables, kids fisher price houses, kids slides, etc
  24. Thick Cover with Jigs Isolated cover on points Bigger Baits for Bigger Fish A few off the top of my head
  25. I still can't catch them on a chatterbait, so don't feel bad
