Got this in the E-mail this morning....... Lutter misses weight, plans to win against Silva, even though just a pound and a half keeps the fight from being a title fight. Despite two tries at the scale, TUF 4 winner Travis Lutter will not be challenging for Anderson Silva's UFC Middleweight Championship Saturday night after coming in at a final weight of 186.5 pounds, a pound and a half over the 185-pound middleweight limit. Lutter's first attempt at making weight was 187 pounds, and after two hours he was only able to lose a half-pound. Tomorrow's UFC 67: All or Nothing main event will now be a three round non-title match, with Lutter being fined 10% of his purse by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (5% going to Silva, 5% to the NSAC).

I noticed it was the FLW stuff and the Strike King 3X stuff. I got the 3X worms for $1.50 a bag!

Just got back from wally world and I remembered what others were saying about clearance items in the fishing section, so I thought I would check it out for myself. YUP, red tags everywhere. I got a hand full of bags of worms, creatures and some hooks. I might go back tomorrow when the wife isn't with me and the bait monkey can take over! LOL

it's a 14 foot V hul and wider than a jon boat. It should be fine. I'll be using the benches as the sub floor so that should stableize it pretty well and keep a lower center of gravity for it too.

Today I got my first boat ever. She's not pretty, she's not new but she's mine and she floats! I got a 1957 Richliner, 14 foot alum. boat. She came with a Eagle Cuda 128 fish finder, an OLD Shakespeare wonder troll, trolling motor with battery and battery box, oars, 2 ankers and a trailer for the wopping price of $400 dollars. I'm going to spend the rest of the winter building decks on the front and back with storage underneath. I'm really excited about this! I started fishing again 2 years ago and now, I'm hooked.

Cro-Cop is gonna show the UFC some competition it's never seen before. Jackson too! Should be CRAZY!!! I'm just wondering if they will stay around for a while.

Just an FYI, Tattoo magazine did an intrview with Mike Iaconelli if anyone buy's it or can get their hands on it. It's the April 07 edition.

First off I would suggest read up on the articles like mentioned above. Second, Get out there and start chucking and figuring out what works for the fish in your area. Faster in warmer weather, slower in colder weather. Slow down, speed up make it irrattic. Have fun and keep working at it.

I like fishing around the shoreline in cat tails and down trees and grass.

I always wait to feel the weight of the fish THEN I set the hook.

What's the differance between the 12V and 24V trolling motor? I'm guessing 24V are for the stronger Lb. thrust and the 12V is for th weaker. Am I correct?

I keep mine in a soft sided 3 ring binder I got at wally world. It's made for soft baits, comes with zip lock style bags in it and is fairly cheap. I only bought one and figured out that the bait monkey had done more shopping that I had though. Time to go buy a few more. I'll end up getting one just for worms, and then one or two for everything else. As for drying out, couldn't tell you I've always kept them in the origional plastic bags.

I'm happy if I catch A fish. A good day is usually 5 or so. I mostly bank fish so I'm limited by that.

Make it work, it's all about CAST anyway!

It's been sleeting and snowing here all weekend, This Sucks!!! I can't wait for it to warm up. :-[

I have taken my MP3 player while I fished from the bank when I'm by myself, if I'm with someone else I feel it's rude to block them out. But I do tend to zone out when I'm fishing and can concentrate more on what my bait is doing. Just my 2 cents.
