Texas Longhorns 13-0
Vegas seems to think this is going to be a close game. Sportsbook has Bama favored by 5 pts. I feel confident in my bet on TX.

Hey deep fryer fans!
another vote for peanut oil. I am a big fan of coconut oil too, but it isn't very cost effective.

Underrated lures
agreed. My fishing partner fishes this a lot. Versatile bait and the price is right. Lose one of these and you are out what, 50 cents?

powerpro
I'm confused. In the link Dodgeguy provided, the 'bantam1' on that board posted on Sep. 30 that PPro under 80 lbs is 4 strands, however, in the post reference below 'bantam1' states on Sept 11 that PPro is '16 strand now'. Am I misinterpreting something here? http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1252680783/0 Note: I am not trying to stir anything up here, I am simply looking for clarification.

TDZ compared to the Zillion
I don't own a Zillion but have fished one a couple times and they are great. A precision tank is how I would describe it. Now with that being said, IMO, that is the only downside, they are a tank (heavy). I have 5 TD-Z's and I absolutely love them. I would describe them as a light weight precision tank. Mine are the 100's and 105's and all of them are stock, no aftermarket parts. I use a 105 for weightless Trick worms and it gets the job done. Not sure what the current market is for used TD-Z's but at one time they could be found used for around $200. If you are ok with used gear, that is a lot of reel for 2 bills....

What's your "guest" rig?
Same here. Me too. Too much trouble having a second set of gear sitting around that rarely gets used.

How often do you fish?
I get out on average once every 2 weeks. I absolutely love to fish, however, I get out enough to take care of my craving. Family and career come way before fishing. There are only so many hours in the day. FD

Predict your NFL Teams record.
Chiefs 5-11. I am predicting we win both outings against Denver and Oakland along with either the Cincy or Cleveland game.

Pistol Advice
Robby, As a couple previous posters have already said, don't rule out the Smith and Wesson M&P series. I have one in 9mm and also have a Glock 17. For me personally, I like the M&P just a bit better simply due to the way it feels. Don't get me wrong, that is not a knock on the Glock, it has been one sturdy gun as well. If you live in an area that has a large gunshop, BPS, Cabela's, etc, I would definitely go hold as many as possible. Also, you may be able to find a shooting range that rents guns so you could put some rounds through multiple models.

Inglorious Basterds
I am a Tarantino fan and a Brad Pitt fan, however, I thought it was average.

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
Decent fights for sure. Lesner--wow..what a d-bag. Looks like Dana White addressed the situation instantly: http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=dw-lesnar071209&prov=yhoo&type=lgns GSP-I agree with what has already been said. I do not think there is ANYONE at 170 that can beat him. I wouldn't put it past Dana White to be working towards a GSP/Silva fight. Sidenote: Silva fights Griffen on August 8th. If Silva wins that, what is next for him? Title shot @205? Hendo-Awesome KO..however, that last punch was a bit much. It was clear that his eyes were rolled back in his head. And then to boast about it when interviewed by Rogan didn't really show a lot of class..

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
I can't really argue with any of these predictions either. Maybe Bonnar over Coleman. If GSP beats Alves, IMO, you have to have him ranked as the best in the world pound for pount. Really looking forward to these fights. Definitely a stacked card with the potential for a lot of good fights.

IMO, Samberg's funniest stuff. T-Pain's last line in the video almost had me rolling on the floor.
