I am finally gonna be able to get out and do some fishing tomorrow I am gonna check out a few spots on Bartrum and a couple spots over on Baymeadows

Nice fish MCS! Looks like the kids had fun catching them bluegills.... Is that pond where you caught the bass over on bartum? Is there like a little man made wooden bridge at the end of the pond and the pond wraps around the whole development in a U shape? If not you should probably check that one out it looks like it holds some nice fish like the one you caught. I drove in there with my girlfriend last weekend around 7pm ish and I notice a lot of fish hitting bugs on top of the water, from the looks of the strikes it looked like bass. When I go by there again I will tell you the name of the development incase you want to check it out.

The lake behind Black Creek Outfitters is a good lake over by the Town Center. You can get to it from the community in the back. Other than that I haven't fished any ponds that way. But if you go past black creek outfitters, I forget the name of the main road, and then you will see an exit for 202 on your right if you keep going down, past the 202 eit, and towards 95 I believe there are some huge lakes over that way. They have been there for years so they definitly hold big fish. I've seen a few people fishing them when I am coming home from the Town Center.

Great story and nice fish. Its good to see women fishing, my girfriend fishes with me but she hasn't lately because we have a 2 month old.

Nice fish man I droped my old iPhone 4s in the wAter few weeks ago but I was shore fishing so I just reached in and got it. Good thing u got a lucky bounce. And judging by the water in your last pic your phone would have been gone.

Next time put it up to your rod to get an estimate then measure it when u get home

One of the ponds I go to someone always leaves their trash behind. I have found a bunch of line, empty bait bags, soda cans, food wrappers, empty bottles. I hate seeing all of that every time I go. i think I am going to start to carry a garbage bag with me leave it in my car and if I ever run into this slob I'm going to open up his car and dump all the trash in there.
