Pondslayer took me over by te Mayo Clinic without any problems. That was back in summer I think we were fishing around 5:30 6 and stayed til dark. I think I remember him saying that he got kicked out of there one time. In my opinion all lakes/ponds are fair game as long as they have no signs saying no fishing. There is this complex over by south side blvd, it might be deerwood, that has a security gate I just told him I visiting a friend that lives there, off of Fairfield Street (there is no Fairfield street) and he lets me in. I have been there 6 times and only had to mention Fairfield the first two times. That's a good way to get in those nice complex ponds but making sure a street actually is in there would probably be beneficial.

Man I wish my high school or college had a fishing team!! In NJ that would be a long shot I bet a lot if not a majority of schools here in FL have them. I hope my son when he is old enough enjoys fishing because his daddy sure does

Seems like u had a good time in Texas great stories and pics. I read that story about Ethel man what a fish!!! You would think that bass pro shops would be able to have a better more realistic replica made that one looks bad IMO

Nice fish man I use to fish resivours in NJ I have seen some nice sized ones pulled out. I can't find any resivours in Jacksonville but there are plenty o spots to fish out here

Caught this 6.10 lb on a white spinner bait felt like a truck hit my line and it put up a hell of a fight.

Went out by Ponte Vedra fished a pond off of a road on A1A saw 3 gators and caught my personal best 6.10lbs

I was driving back from ponte verda and my girl spotted a alligator on the bank. So we pulled over and as we are walking toward the barbed wire fence as we get to it another one jumps in the water then was just floating on the top. They were small but cool seeing them in the wild. Got some decent pictures

I live over by bartram park where are spots that have alligators around Jacksonville? Someone said something about one being in one of the 3 ponds by racetrack and batrum but haven't seen it.

Mine would be my back yard pond. Last year I was killing them it seemed like there is nothing less than 2.5# in there. But I haven't caught anything at all since last June. I'm not sure what has happened but it's frustrating. I have been fishing a lot the past few weeks but nothing I. My back yard. I have another spot that is a 2 min drive, too far to walk though, from my house an that spot I have been getting a lot of nice fish nothing over 5# landed yet, had one that was easily well over 5 or 6 but as I had it 10 feet from shore the line got snagged and cut on a log. As far as my backyard pond I hope it picks up again last year it was around May that I decided to go out back and test my luck so hopefully it will be like last year in next few months.

Any day on a boat is a good day especially for a shore fisherman

16 pounder that would be a tough decision but he made the right decision. But for me that would be a hard one to make. I always catch and release but something like that??
