Thats a big carp man Ihave about 3 to 4 of them in my backyard I haven't been able to catch one, never really tried though. I just always see them by the shore eating tadpoles, frogs, bugs, grass, whatever they eat and half their body is out of the water.

That's good to hear I went ou and got a new tackle bag and a few soft plastics and crank baits so hopefully I get something tomorrow. I am goin to check out that spot on the corner of bartram and race track and I am going to this pond that I saw behind publix on race track, that shoppin center has been there for a while an when I went to pick up some things couple days ago I saw a few nice size bass close to shore so I know it has some fish in there

I know the pond that you are taking about I was on my way home from St. Augistine yesterday and saw that little pond you are talkin about and I was going to check it out this weekend. I am even going to fish the pond at the poker room because it looks like it holds some monsters even though it says no trespassing, that's probably because it does hold monsters

Man I can't seem to catch anything! My pond is deep in the middle and there is little to no structure what so ever. So I don't know where the fish are. I am guessing the middle of the pond where it is deepest. I don't know what to do to find these fish it is crazy. I was pullin them out left and right anytime of the day now I can't get one, it's been like this the past few weeks it's ridiculous.

I have some 5" Smoke shad color Yamamoto and they do work good. i never used the Zoom Super FLukes before

What were you doing that you got so dark fishing I hope. and wouldn't standing in one spot for a few hours get you even darker than you are? Maybe you should do some indoor activities

well you need to get behind those buildings and fish em to see what they produce, you will probably have good luck since you never see anyone fishing them

That sounds like a battle man!! I would have been ticked too because I have never caught a muskie before I don't know where to fish for muskie in FL. In NJ I knew a place but I never caught one just really big pickerel and the occasional bass. There were so many pickerel that it seemed like that is all you caught. I've had some monsters pickerel are smaller than pike and muskie but some of the ones I was catching could have passed for a big pike or a small muskie. If I find out a place to fish for Muskie in Jacksonville I will be there and I will definitely share my story of my first muskie with everyone

Well said As for me, Q: How long does a bass live out of water? A: AS LONG AS IT TAKES ME TO UNHOOK IT AND TAKE A PICTURE AND THEN PUT IT BACK IN THE WATER TO LIVE... so about 30 seconds to a minute I'd guess

Crappie love shiners and so do bass so you can kill 2 fish with one fish

I was gonna go salt water fishing this weekend too because I am sick of not catching anything on freshwater. I was out this morning and caught another small one probably 10" or so. The big ones must be hiding or too lazy to bite anything they have to work for

Have you had any luck with the bass? I haven't caught anything... But I did catch a big ass turtle, on a senko, that I thought was a bass when I was reeling it in. They may be slow on land but they are fast in the water
