  1. lol as long as there isn't any signs its fair game, that came from Jacksonville PD I google earthed it though it looks like you need to go through a deep patch of woods and I am not that guy lol
  2. Its in the cut but only reason why you cant get to it is cuz the land is all dug up
  3. Yes thanks to you! You ruined it though I planned on taking a picture when it arrives and publically thanking you for your generosity my friend.
  4. He said there are some big ones in there he just heard this he wasn't part of the stocking team. I'd imagine they put them there to fatten them up and get them acclimated to the area IDK. I won't have time to fish tonight so I may just drive out that way and try to figure out if there is a way back to it before it gets dark. I wanted to try to get out there this weekend I will PM you if I have any success.
  5. Its going to be a fishing shock for me going back to soft plastics instead of my frogs but the colder weather may cause me to change my approach but that's the key to fishing being able to adapt
  6. Yea I am going to do some research but the guy told me which pond it was its just impossible to get to it easily. I have to figured out a more indirect root to get there using google earth/maps or something
  7. Have you heard anything about the BPS pond? I got a message from someone on this site who saw my post and claimed to work for the FWC. He said that they stocked a pond close to the site that they will transfer the fish from there to the BPS one. Not sure how accurate this is but he told me where it is only problem is getting to it, looks impossible until they start doing work. Dave said his buddy mentioned something to him after I told him about it but IDK, this could all be fake since you said they were having problems getting the permits or something like that.
  8. I have some of my best days fishing top water with bluebird skies and no wind. I want to get out tonight but I don't think I can do any fishing until Saturday morning. My online order should be here tomorrow looking forward to trying out some new things this weekend. Have some new top water lures and soft plastics to try.
  9. This happened to me a lot more when I was fishing in NJ. Pickerel, pike, and crappie were among the culprits that would take my lure instead of bass... Pickerel and pike will eat anything lol
  10. No specific rig but this year I started fishing frogs and I am hooked
  11. I don't have that problem down here in Jacksonville. Other than bass I've caught 2 big catfish and that's it. All I catch is bass. But if I lived in South FL I would get annoyed with catching snakeheads instead of largemouth or peacocks
  12. That's a nice fish. You can't go wrong AM froggin
  13. Nice fish I never caught snakehead before I don't think they are in Jax. I wish I had the courage to get on a yak lol I need more room I'm a big guy need a tracker boat lol
  14. All the way to the left closest to the road is weeded up but that side has limited access. So the pond is t really affected and since I've been fishing there I have only caught a few from the left and that's by casting parallel to the shore line. The rest of it is open the only thing is there's a lot of vegetation underwater but about 2-3 feet if that of water over it. These a lot of pockets surprisingly back then I was all soft worms I just started the frogs since I been on them. I had luck with magnum worms 10.5", senkos, trick, rage craws. I wasn't fishing u vibes back then but like I said they love the soft plastic out tere in trying to turn em on to the frog
  15. Farthest I have only caught small ones from the limited access to the other 2. But a bunch of my fish from out earlier comps came from there. I just recently went back and caught a few.
  16. MCS the spot that is by where they are building the fire station is where I was
  17. Unfortunately alligators don't count lol. Lost a frog hook to a nice sized gator. Had no idea it was just hanging out in the pads didn't even see it til it took the frog. I not only lost my HOOK, down to only 2 maybe 3, as my last black frog but I lost a lot of braided line on my new reel (figures I only got 1 spool with line on it the other is still in the plastic lol) That was my one and only bite since I only had my patriarch reel with me. I may go back out later but that means I need to go to OP to get me more frogs
  18. Nice perfect timing
  19. I don't have a yak or boat but that's what they all do. And it makes it easier for you place fish snap pic let go.
  20. You caught that on a crank bait? I've never caught a blue gill here in FL
