  1. I can post fish that are longer than these posts but no where near a fat
  2. Figures u find a bait you haven't used in a while and it works then u run out of them, that's fishing life lol
  3. And my general consensus is you "unofficially" won July prob by about 7 inches at least
  4. Lol thank god you didn't measure those HAWGS you would have been the ninja everyone was talking about and would be getting some frogs from BP.Where were you fishing mainly to catch those monsters Okeechobee? That first pic the spot looks ideal for frog/ top water, hence how you caught it What were you using mostly? And want to take me out on your boat sometime to the spots where you caught these fish I can pay my share lol
  5. Awesome fish man congrats on the double digit club
  6. lol yea we won't we have our own one but we will be checking in to see what you guys are catching in your region and what works up there. Good luck
  7. That would probably be better since FL fishing could be considered 6 states in one with the number of serious anglers whatever kind of fishing it may be
  8. You would have to ask the fish itself only they know if it hurts
  9. That's crazy I have a double digit bass swimming around with my storm swim bait in its mouth I don't care about the lure I want that fish back!!
  10. You caught that today snook? That's a nice looking fish
  11. I will keep popping my head in here to see the fish you guys are posting Good luck to all of you NE anglers
  12. I like how you have followed suit.I've won the FL One the past two months and it makes fishing a lot more fun. A few of us have and plan on meeting up and fishing. Me and a local buddy are taking a trip to south FL to do some fishing with two members of the competition from Miami. We share tip and techniques that we all use including how and what we caught the fish on.
  13. Yea man the fish up here aren't as fat as they are in south fl they are just heavy.
  14. Lou are you going to that spot today? Good luck if you do
  15. That's a nice fish
  16. Yea man I can't wait to hook into one of them when's the best time of year to catch them? Or do they generally follow the same pattern as largemouth as far as spawn and such?
  17. A lot of good information people have posted the only thing is you guys are using the wrong type of frogs. I've used most of these and they are no long in my tackle box because these new ones took over... I love em so do big fish
  18. Nice fish! You need to post some pics of these musky you catch, I always wanted to fish for them I don't think we have them here in FL. When I was in NJ I would catch pickerel and pike nice big ones but never a musky. My buddy in NJ caught a few.
  19. I've thrown it on 30 and 50lb braid. I watched a video on YouTube where this guy catches over 25lbs in 2 CASTS!!! He lands a big one and a 5 LB at once then he lands an even bigger one and another over 5. Biggest was 9.12
  20. Jig fishing can be really addicting! I use to jig often but now I have been exclusively using frogs for the past 3 weeks This one pond at this golf course I fish is the perfect spot for froggin and jiggin! I haven't thrown a jig there just frogs over the slop but I am going to try punching jigs through the thick stuff and pull out a BIGGEN
  21. 15lb peacock that's massive! Lou hopefully you hook into it if u find that spot how big would you say the one you caught was and is that your peacock PB? That's the main reason why I want to go fishing down south so I can form after some peacock bass the colors on those fish are beautiful sucks we don't have them here in Jacksonville
  22. Lol yea these fish have cost me too much money this month!! Only positive is I got a brand new reel for my old one
  23. Practice is the key, as far as open water strikes they happen more often when the frog is still, for me.
  24. Stanley hollow body frog black with red flake
