I know you know this......fish in the rain......not a storm. (A storm has lightening in it.......by my definition anyway) Just be careful when out in any inclement weather. That said.........the bite can really turn on just before the front hits!

I think you have to take it with a grain of salt. I found the extended forecast on accuweather says it will be mostly cloudy on Wed the 1st, a little rain on Thursday the 2nd, clouds and sun Friday, mostly cloudy on Saturday and sunny to partly cloudy on Sunday . Did you do something to the chicken, Mike?

Much to my chagrin...........I bought one too. I do not wish to use it and have no interest in this lure........but I do not want to miss out if that ends up being the one lure I need at pickwick. So I will have one in my arsenal!

Got it.....arm just swings up out of way. Does it look like it is connected correctly. Directions sheet leaves a whole lot to be desired.

Can anyone tell how this comes apart? Do I just pry it apart? Throttle cable linkage

Will the hot foot sit straight up like the first pic or lower like the second pic after install? Straight up looks very uncomfortable.

What is the correct levels for water in the battery? just above the plates, just to the tops of the little notches in each chamber or all the way up? And I understand it should be distilled water, is that right ? Sorry....I am just not too smart on the battery stuff.

I keep telling her it is 0300 (pronounced o-three-hundred ;-) ) and not 3 A.M. 3 A.M. Is much too early to leave........but 0300 is almost like sleeping in. Mike and I only live a few miles apart too........not just Mike and my wife.

Me TOO! 5,6,8 ft swells/waves................I would have been done...........could of just stuck a fork in me!

Got my first taste of the wave action today. I did not like it one little bit. No sir....ree. Nothing too bad...... 25 mph winds with 2-3 ft swells with white caps and a few bigger. Just went slow (few miles per hr) trimmed all the way down most of the time. Trimmed up some of the time to see the differences. Tried to plane once or twice but quickly.....very quickly abandoned that in favor of slow and steady. Overall a pretty wet ride. I had read this thread last fall/winter........so it helped me out. But I did keep thinking....man, I need to read up on this some more. And I might add I did cluck a little here and there........like any sensible chicken would ;-)

I knew as soon as I snapped the pic that some sharp cookie would spot that wrapper. ;-)
