  1. Can those fools even afford let alone use a drone?
  2. Remember you can purchase an extended warranty pretty cheap with them. 3-4 years on a rod or reel is a pretty good warranty for them. Some of the lower quality BP reels don't get the best of all reviews, but the higher end models get pretty good reviews. The PQ for one, gets recommended here by Shimano, Diawa, ABU etc guys all the time for the best reel in the 80-100 dollar mark. I've been told the same by MGR's there about certain customers or products they will extend it out further, but some do and some don't.
  3. Most have a one year warranty swap out. They offer you a 3 year warranty for a fee at checkout.
  4. Some will say do some will also say don't. It boils down to your personal preference. I'm not in college and have a nice extra chunk of pay money every month and I can't affford to run a whole spool of it lol. I try to match diameters. I always use mono. Mainly Berkley. I put on 65-70 yards of fluoro braid or even quality hybrid/mono and back the rest with Berkley.
  5. He also is in the new Calcutta D commercial catching I think it's a tarpon, and that sucker was massive.
  6. I have 2 that I really like and used almost all the time. The first is the Xcite baits Chunk. I cut the body in half for a smaller profile. The claws don't have a ton of action but they float almost straight up. The other is the Berkley Crazy legs chigger craw in 3". I cut the body in half the same as with the Xcite baits. The claws float very well and it has more action on the fall. I also pull off the tentacles or whatever they are called. The claws are shorter and wider than the regular chigger craw making for a shorter wider profile. I switch out either depending on how much action I want. The 2nd jig from the left is a NS hair jig with the Berkley trimmed to fit.
  7. I switched my son to spinning this year and the little turd uses it upside down lol.
  8. Your an interesting character. I've paid plenty of attention to your soap box ramblings every single day here. You ever wonder why people bash you everytime you make a post about this very topic. I'm not a fanboy of anything and what's funny is you have gone back on what you prefer so many times its comical. What's even more funny is I agree that spinning tackle has more of an advantage in certain areas than baitcasters do. I've never said the opposite. I've never seen someone revert to name calling and acting like a giant 4 year old over something so insignificant such as a preference of one piece of equipment or another. Till the next time sir
  9. Problem is every time a thread comes up like this, you jump on your soapbox and scream Spinning reels are better more versatile or whatever your thoughts are on the day. Now your saying they can both do the same. Which is it today? Neither reel is better or worse. It comes down to what you prefer. Plain and simple. Almost every time a person asks "what's the difference" you go on some rant about how one is better than the other. The poster asked what was the difference, not some guys opinion on what "HE" thinks is the superior piece of equipment.
  10. I have been testing out Tatsu in 12# and 20#. The 20# I ended stripping it off after a month due to the memory. Now the 12# is doing very well and I'm super impressed with it. I've got no complaints. InvisX is another great one to try. It's very supple compared to XPS and the Red Label I've tried.
  11. No problem. Thanks though. These are awesome hooks as well. I just bought 30 of them last week for jerkbait replacement hooks.
  12. Thanks but these are the standard length hooks. I'm looking for the short shank models
  13. No they are regular shank. These are like the short KVD Mustads. They discontinued these in the US a few years back, but I was told they still make them for a few other countries. Not sure how true it is.
  14. I have a couple left on some crankbaits and can't find anymore to save my life. I've got the regular shaft hooks but can't find the short shanks. Thanks
  15. I ran the modified Albright knot and it still drove me kinda nuts. It works, but if your casting it's not to bad. Pitching it drove me nuts. I think the modified Albright knot is one of the smallest too.
  16. Im not a fan boy. I was asking dodgeguy a question. To answer your question, I couldn't get used to it after switching years ago. Unless it's smaller profile than say the 5000 series, it was too big. A lot is going to depend on your hand size.
  17. I've been told the same several times. A quote taken from Gary on a other site, basicslly Gary says there is more noticeable jump from Savvy to CH than say the CH to DX. The CH rods have faster tips than the savvy series
  18. How do you come to that? Look at each site that has reviews on it. The same issues are popping up all over. Guys with time under their belt with them are having the same issues too. I'm not saying every new gen Revo owner has had issues, but a lot have. More than what a normal person would consider a couple of bad apples.
  19. Thanks. I have been thinking of one for awhile
  20. Anyway I could get a picture of that?
  21. Call American legacy fishing. They are a Loomis superstore and have guys that can answer your questions. I swear when I call Loomis direct I'm speaking to a part time convience store clerk.
  22. That's good to hear. I'll hit you up on that bag this week.
  23. That was pretty quick turn around! I leave mine be. I will on occasion fan them out some but for the most part I leave them alone.
