Ive seen a guy just backing up the trailer down the ramp and its pretty slick on the ramp with the slime and stuff on the ramp. He walked down with his buddy to unstrap the boat, once the driver got to the bottom of the ramp, he slipped and fell and scraped his elbow pretty bad. I couldnt stop laughing.

Whats on my mind? Got a Iowa B.A.S.S Spring State tournament on a Lake Okoboji next week. Leaving early Tuesday morning. Never been on a rocky clear lake before. Never fished for Smallies before. Nervous that if I forget something for state. This mothernature were having sucks. Shes bipolar. Cold rain since sunday, not stopping tomorrow around 3 p.m.

Hello Bass Resource, I need a honest question what to do about this. I am going to my very first tournament at state for Iowa BASS Nation May 10th to 11th. I leave town May 6th and practice starts 7th to 9th. Actual tournament dates are 10th and 11th. Okay heres the question. I'll be on a boat obviously on the lake with the boater. Lets say if you have a bowel movement going on that you have to drop it or you have to go to restroom to urine. What are you supposed to do at this time? Im not gonna go on the lake and go. I need a honest question and I know i will receive some hilarious comments. But thats fine. Just need the answer! Thanks! DILLY

Amen. Im thankful to live on this earth. Makes me sad that public sand pits that has big bass, filled with crappie and bluegills. Last year was finally opened to public. It has 7-8 surrounding big clear lakes. Last year was so clean, no trash or nothing. Now today, it filled with cigarette butts, trash, empty chew cans. McDonald cups, worm containers laying around. Sickens me. I try to bring a trash bag and pick up things. I come back and filled again. It ticks me.

On the way to the lake or river, I usually listen to metal like Five Finger Death Punch, Slipknot and etc. Somedays, I'll listen to hiphop or dubstep such as Eminem to Yelawolf. Dubstep- Datsik to Skrillex. Never on water, I like to concentrate.

When I'm punching or pitching, I let it fall and slack the line twice. I twitch it twice and let it fall again til I get a strike. Once I get a strike and fish is on the lure. You can see your line go left or right swimming with it. Set the hook upward so the hook can puncture the lip and start reeling.

LORD! If I caught that, I would make sure if it was real.

This is great for me to look at because Im fishing as a co angler this year, I might be snagging the bag also!

I always catch good healthy bass during rain. Theres times I get skunked. Always bring your rain gear in your boat or truck or car. You never know when its going to rain because I got stormed in without gear. Thanks mother nature.

Thanks Joey, Whats the peference of those applications but in pound test?

I was curious what line applications you use on the lure because Im just having a difficult time to pick what line for this application and that. But I know that you should use braid while flipping and pitching and frog. I'm trying to find what line to use on these applications: Jerkbait Topwater Squarebill Deep Diver Flipping and Pitching Worm and Jigs Shakey Head Thanks!
