  1. Ill be throwing swimbaits jigs, dropshoting ,or ill throw a big spinner and slow roll over some rock piles. Caught a few pigs last year early march on jigs and swimbaits
  2. Answering the original post using a spinning reel for senkos cranks and jerks. Use a lighter line. And if you have to use braid . 10lb is more that enough with a light fluro leader
  3. Well if your fishing the thickest cover you can find wacky rigged senkos, cranks, jerk bait etc. Probably won't be a good choice to fish in that type of cover.
  4. Thats awesome. Like ajay said when reading a book for enjoyment. I take my time, about in a week ill finish it. Then move on but if,i could read a little faster and enjoy it,the same id give it shot. A 400 page books takes about 1 week for me to finish. Then most of the time ill go back to all the page nunbers i wrote down and take notea on them. Most of the time this will spark more thoughts and i'll get more out of the book.
  5. Haha!! Ive done a few,of those. Glad,to hear im not the only one
  6. Find those rocks near deeper water. Where the sun is on them. Preferably later in the day around 11-3ish. Id be throwing big black football jigs. Chatterbaits, rat Ls. And maybe a big Colorado blade. Over and over. Ive fished that type of water before its tough but you can catch em

  8. Check if you're write is straight. It's the blades bent? How fast are you reeling? How is your knot tied? Are you using a swivel?
  9. Doesnt bother me a bit i love my,curado awesome, reel on the water. Hasnt gave me any trouble. Im not a loyal shimano guy i,use, lews sp33d spools and revos. Love them all. Treat your reels right, theyll last and dependable for years.
  10. I wouldnt give me sercert honey holes, id,tell them of,local, spots on the river or creek. No way im telling them about the one, spot i weeded out of hours and hours of time spent to find it , walk to it and determine if its good or not. The creek i tell them about is a great small mouth fishery.
  11. I would, not quit fishing. Temporarily stop until i,forgot, about, the genie and fish again
  12. Thats a hard one, id say no just **** cat said i enjoy the hunt for that fish and the pther side of not knowing when or if iys going to happen.
  13. I dont dump pollutants into, the water. Famik6 freind owns a tree farm i,can, have a few when ever i want and submerge them.dont be throwing garbage in there! And,be sure to check. Most of,the ponds i,fish, are, private or,litterally in the middle,of woods where nobody is going walk or ride a quad to no trails other then mine .
  14. Ill check next time I'm out. But most of the stores are having a sales on berks aold baits and line?
  15. Cabin fever is at its highest. I feel his pain haha!!
  16. Any of you guys or gals put your own cover into a pond? Ive dropped a few xmas trees in there.
  17. Im always stomping thru the woods looking for another honey hole. To me thats one of the great things about pond hopping. Great exercise and great fishing = Win Win
  18. Ill let them in on some over fished ponds if i kinda know them. But for the most part. Ill tell then about 2 lakes and 1 creek. Thats where theyll, have the best luck. Only bring a few people to my honey holes.
  19. When i get older.*Im pretyy sure ill be down south living on private lake so i can bass fish all year.
  20. Belly wieght for, weedlesss. Open jig head for, open water. You can use a weedgaurd or not, all the bait listed above are great choices. Mess around with nail weights and diff swimbaits. So many differrent ways to fish i love it!
