idk in lily's the color really matter or over scum for that matter. in open water I experiment.. I have many different colors. they all catch fish. but most of the time I think bass feel the frog pushing water and moving the pads around when you go thru with the frog... I've switched different colors before when they were missing my frog... and have them crush it or not even touch... but if you drag a frog over a bass in the pads and it wants frog it will go get the frog.. if it doesn't well you'll just be practicing casting till they want it or get annoyed

well the curado is my cranking, top water and spinner bait reel.. I cleaned the whole reel, put a few drops in, re-spooled.. and it works perfectly. I cleaned the reel last week I guess ive been fishing a lot.. also my spool was running low with line maybe that was another cause...

I've tried trailer but I never had much luck with then I just throw trailer hook on.. that's it .. but my uncle swears by uncle josh pork trailers... gave a shot a few times and not a nibble!

Just had a 5 pounder hit my jig so hard then drop it .. next cast. Threw in the same spot and nailed her in the same spot... you never know!
