Im going to get a replica for sure when the time is right.. On the other hand if i catch a fish and its dying due blood loss like blue said i think would keep it and get a mount...I've only seen one rotten bass head at my uncles pond which is about an acre or so.. it has turtle , Bullhead ,which i think they did a number on that thing when it died.. id much rather have a big bass on my wall then letting the turtles or catfish eat it.. they have plenty of food in the pond to gorge themselves on.. Seeing a bass like that up here is rare and deserves to be cherished by someone who knows the odds she went through to get that big.. If i catch her and she is fine after you best bet she'll be swimming around to fight another day!

Maybe he's just saying he was surprised that nobody cussed? I didn't watch the video so I'm not sure how he phrased it. On the other hand I think I'd be 1.) in shock from seeing mother nature strike right in-front of me on a boat!!! 2.) i would cuss oh well it happens

Veritas are good rods for the money.. i have only had 1 and was impressed.. as for the reels i haven't tried them

i caught a lot fish just dragging my jig this weekend... how were you fishing your jig NEjitterbug?

i mean fall fishing can be awesome and it can suck... i fish pretty much till theres ice on ponds... last year i caught them in late November and late feb... but when the water temp gets down in the 40's its very slow fishing.. very very very slow.... a cast for, me if im jig fishing can last 10 mins or more depending who deep im working and how long my casts are.. on sunny days sometimes you can catch smaller bass roaming around rocks in small ponds and they'll hit a moving bait... you can catch some serious monsters in the winter just be patient.. Baits i use are 6'' t-rigged worms, jigs, and swiwbaits on the bottom "slow rolling"... there should be some articles about winter fishing on here

its going pretty good.. uploaed my pics and to my calculations im in second with 85'' . I need to find me a few of those fall cows I was on last year!

i like to fish with the lightest jig head possible for the conditions.. calm water i like my jig to fall slow.. if its windy on the pond or lake im at i go up to 3/8 and that's pretty much it for me

ive caught 4-8 pounders on buzz baits... also frogs are up there big bass caught in the pads. which both give can give you quantity and quality.. i prefer quality but if Im catching quantity I wont complain...
