I have tried the pop-Rs and threw an 6 treble with a huge feather one fish.. I'll have to take out my jerkbaits next time I go out.

Yeah I'm sure there bass I can see them with my glasses and I do catch one here and there its not consisent with the amount of surfacing I see.

Yeah there isn't carp.. but I will try that I have blue gill pattern 3 inch swimbaits so I'll get some small white ones. I've tried small poppers and spooks of all sizes... jr I try a lot.. as to match the hatch I do...they eat blue gill, bugs, frogs, and crawdads..

I mix it up but It normally not straight and steady, if you catch fish like that by all means don't stop doing it..

hit the banks man i do very good from them... and it good excerise walking thru the woods and around the lake instead of just sitting on the dock hoping the fish swim by... find cover alond the banks you'll do better than you think..

i dont buy rods off the interent or from my local tackle shop for that reason of dealign with the hassel.. so i buy them at dicks or gander etc.. took it back to dicks said hey my rod is messed up. I want to exchange for a different one OKAY go get a rod havent been back since!

yeah of course and you only use these in special situation or if you just a swimbait fisherman obviously you would use them all the time.. i think once you fish with them and learn where your fishing.. you wont lose them as much if your experenced.. i know when i fist started id fish them kinda high in the water so i wouldnt get snagged but now i have weeldess and all that stuff but yeah you still can loose them.. its another gamble of using a swimbait... i love the thrill haha

Pretty much when your lakes water mixes, oxygen is replenishing the water. When the surface temp reaches about 50 degrees the water on top is denser than deeper water. The suface water that is dense sinks to the bottom and that pushes the deplated oxygen water from the bottom to the top...You can catch fish but use lures that cover lots of water Rattle traps of lipless cranks, spinners, cranksbaits, etc.. and i dont know if you have a boat or not, but if your fishing a big lake its rare the whole lake with turn over all at once. So find cleaning water and you might find some fish! I normally dont fish when its happening jsut personal prefence but after it does oh man is it lunker hunter time!!!! Good luck !

well just going on the most recent bassmaster this year.. I remeber a guy talking about survial rate among all the bass brought to weigh-ins was very high dont quote me but i think he said 100%?? im just thinking about all the handling in which those fish endure during the course of there ride all day in a live well, weigh-ins and of course flooping them in the boat...

So at my uncle private pond which I fish ALOT and they've been sufacing like crazying around 7 pm.. like everywhere! the thing is they won't touch anything i throw at them I've tried top water, spinners, squarebills ,weightless soft plastics, jigs, etc... I only catch them after the frenzy has stopped... any tips for fishing catching this fish.. ?
