  1. so I went night fishing with my new g loomis g2 jig rod.... went to cast and started working my jig back and I heard some rattling going on near the tip.. some how the on the second eyelet the guide fell out? I think that's what its called anyway.. its brand a new rod!!! should I try and pop it back in or take it back?
  2. i saw my breathe tonight .. i love this weather.................
  3. x2 hula grubs.. someone on here mentions taking a skirt off of a chatter bait and putting a fluke on. Only tried it once but I'm thinking that's going to catch a nice lunker in fall
  4. oh yeah and frogs in some pads always get a little attention as well !!
  5. x2 buzz bait early and late are killer for me.. tonight I caught a nice 6 pounder on a small single blade buzz bait.. they've been hitting it better then my larger ones
  6. remove the hook it wont pass.... maybe if you using a one of those small sunfish hooks.. but a bass with a 3-5/0 hook in its throat will not pass and will be easy to take out with practice. my uncle always told me to just cut the line but to me I just couldn't wrap my head around the idea... if its to bad I end up taking the fish home and making some dinner which is rare but it does happen
  7. yeah I guess it could be but I don't look as it like that.. I just love fishing period................................
  8. youll get one here and there.. not a constant bite tho... if I doing that I like to jerk, pause it ,but I rarely ever fish a senko t-rigged..
  9. catch up on buying tackle and watching vids!!! bass master elite series ?? or just find a way not to put strain on it
  10. no I never had that happen.. that sucks...!!!!
  11. ahhhh that sucks....no I have my phone for my pb but its been dying a lot.. last year I caught a few nice 8 p0under which It did for.... as long as you don't have a crazy story I believe you haha
  12. you can get a cheap scale for about 6 bucks at wal mart invest!!!!!
  13. I only use a heavy rod in very thick - think cover.. pads, mats etc... mh for other stuff like scum or just fishing around brush piles
  14. yeah I try and to go and catch her..i have a few ponds where I lost some monster so I save them for when I feel the time is right... plus a lot of them are a pretty far walk in thick thick weeds that I doubt people even know pond exist.. Go get her!!!!... spinning tackle should have anything to do with it though but if you confident in baitcasting gear bring it next time!
  15. IF you can get my some 6 footers im in need.. I ran out of my 5's looking for something a little bigger
  16. all depend I caught a few fish over 6 last year I baby brush hogs.. and beetle spins
  17. Zoom ol monster culiprit.. Berkeley 10 inch power worm
  18. ive been jig fishing a lot more these past few years and I can say there my favorite to throw.. at night they are killer!!!
  19. I have 14 set ups for bass. if im bank fishing I bring 3 depending on where im fishing some places have a lot for lily and scum which is where my heavy combos come in... out on the boat I bring about 6-8 also depending where im fishing.. but to answer you question yes you can use one rod... medium/ heavy is what I prefer on a baitcaster.. I do just fine on that if I'm going out with some buddies fishing.. most of the time im fishing by myself and really trying to learn as much as I can.. so having more combos ready at hand is better so im not re tying all the time..
  20. x2 check out tackle Warehouse.. or look up swim baits on Youtube there should be some good vids on there.
  21. Well why don't you cry about it saddle bags!!!
